I think so.

Kachunga for Charles.

Charles fluffed his chance not hitting it after his first touch on that pen shout move.

6 minutes added.

That's turned out to be a good result for us.

A very good draw. It would have been better if we had won but we will take that.

Make the most of the little break.
I'm going to fill up some prescriptions and try to grow my fingernails. They'll all be needed for a pizza in London and the run in.

That was a stonewall penalty, how the ref could deny that should be the eighth wonder of the world.

Now that we have established that experience counts, what will Evatt do when we go to Wembley? will he tinker with the team he started last night, or will he stick?

For me, there is only one option play the experienced players and as some tire, as is probable with the large pitch at Wembley, he can introduce the youngsters with their speed when the other team start to get tired.

What are your thoughts on how we should approach the game?

Thought Bolton were probably the best team to come to Hillsborough so far this season. Kept possession well and play decent football. We looked tired which is a concern for the run in given how quickly the games come around. Also worried about injuries with Windass and Gregory both going off injured. We really missed Byers in the middle of the park. Hoping not, but think the unbeaten run may come to an end away at Barnsley. Anyway, good luck for the rest of the season. Fingers crossed Bolton and/or Derby get promotion with us.

You have a good team so I think you will be promoted automatically.

For us, it's a bridge too far and all we can realistically hope for is the playoffs and anything can happen.

Talking about injuries we have had more than our fair share of those. We were looking jaded after the Pappa John's pizza game and our heavy run of games in February took its toll.

In Friday's game, we were looking more like the team we should be, so hopefully, that will continue until the season's end.

You know what they say, "It's a funny old game." so we will just need to wait and see.

Good luck to you. I think that you will be OK.

We did alright in the league yesterday, results elsewhere didn't really hurt us.

We now have a spell of the Ben padding out Wanderers news, before they go hyper hysterical with the Pizza build up.

2 weeks today seems a long time off.

posted on 19/3/23

Will the 2 weeks off do us more harm than good on the pitch at Wembley.
Time off and then a game in front of a big crowd at Wembley. How will the young players cope with it?

If we keep picking up back injuries, we may struggle to field a side. What are we doing to the players to suffer so many bad backs.

They mentioned the pitches at lostock were too soft so picking muscle injuries. Shame the euxton facility was sold off a few years ago.

Is the big bubble back at Lostock yet? not heard of it being used since it popped.
It's madness training on unfit pitches. Can we not sell Lostock off for housing and make a few quid.

There was talk of buying a plot of land the other side of the A6 a few years back.

We don't have any all weather pitches which are also available to the community. It all needs sorting, which means we need promotion to earn the extra brass to pay for it.

We need to play Trafford and Bradley at Wembley the other youngsters who warrant it should be on the bench.

It's more important to start with an experienced 11 for the final. The youngster can run when they come on as subs.

As for bad backs, the club should employ a chiropractor to sort them out. No medication and no surgery will be needed if they do their job properly.

When I was in Spain I could hardly walk and the pain was very intense, so much so that it brought tears to my eyes. A Norwiegan chiropractor sorted me out.

We have two weeks to sort out any niggling injuries so hopefully, all will be good when we make the trip down south.

I can't see the team at Wembley being that different to the starting 11 at Sheffield. Have to replace adeboyejo and no shoretire or nlundulu available. Between Kachunga and Jerome to partner Charles and Morley or Sheehan the 2 issues.

posted on 21/3/23

Since the final talk and build up has started.
I'd go with Morley, then again should we start with Sheehan and save Morley until Josh runs out of steam.
Plenty of time to think about it, we are bound to nobble one of our own before the big day.

Strange how I mentioned the conundrum evatt faces in midfield last night there is an article in the Beano a few hours later addressing the same issues https://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/23400024.mood-swing-bolton-wanderers-bright-sheffield-wednesday-point/
