Adams is a big miss but we need to put in our chances. One could do it.
0-3 sounds about right.

I'm leaning more towards another score draw like last week although I think Wolves struggle to score more than 1 goal so if we can get a couple of goals and none in our own net that might be enough to steal a precious win.

1-1. Tight game, few goals. Need to get a win really. We have Arsenal away after this, so could be 2 wins in 28 if we aint careful. Hopefully we put on a similar display to what we saw at Villa and Fulham recently.

Thru should have had two booked in the first five minutes.

Genuinely think Forest are the worst team in the league. They get an insane amount of luck. Most home games they get battered all over the pitch but get saved by the woodwork, VAR or deflection; then nick a goal through some fortuitous error.

Hopefully that game will be the turning point for them. If either of our clubs finish below them, we deserve to go down.

Toon deservedly won at Forest, so this is a big opportunity for us to move out of the bottom three. Can we do it? Adams injury makes it a big ask. It’s not just the energy he brings to the midfield, it his leadership on the pitch. He is irreplaceable in my view.
There are options for Gracia, though. McKennie and Roca as a double pivot. Wober to play in midfield with Pascal to play alongside Koch, Gyabi or Greenwood to come into the midfield. It’s a tough call.
Wolves are stronger in this department and I expect Neves to be influential, with Podence and Traore being the main beneficiaries. However, Wolves look shy in front of goal and our improving defence may be a tough nut for them to crack.
The key for us is in attack. The right side of the Wolves defence is weaker than the right and I am looking forward to seeing Gnonto, who must start, having a go at Ait Nouri and Dawson. Bamford will get space; will his goal last week give him the boost to add to his tally?
It’s always tense and exciting between us, tomorrow will be no different. I think Wolves will score. Can we get two? Yes. Bamford and Gnonto to bring home the points for the mighty Whites.

One caveat to the above comments is the referee, Michael Salisbury. He is one of the worst referees in the Premier League, with a dreadful history of getting the big decisions wrong. Just ask Toon, Stoke…and ourselves, when he allowed the Spurs equalizer when Meslier was thrown into the back of the net. This game has every chance of being decided by another cr@ppy VAR decision, and we have every chance of being on the wrong end of it.

Ait-Nouri and Dawson don't play alongside each other. Ait Nouri is a left back and Dawson usually plays right sided centre back. Kilman is the left sided centre back.

There is no guarantee that Ait-Nouri will start, as we also have Jonny who gets rotated in. If Gnonto plays on the left, then he will be up against Semedo, who has bags of pace and is good one on one. His weakness is defending the back post from crosses.

Dawson has been really good since he came in, possibly our best player so we probably won't mind you targeting him. Lemina has been good shielding the defence too, so I wouldn't bank on Bamford getting lots of space.

No guarantee Podence and Traore will both start either. Sarabia and Cunha are both back from injury, so likely Sarabia will start on one of the wings. Difficult to predict how we will go up top. If he plays Moutinho as an advanced midfielder, then we'll likely struggle going forward. If we play Cunha and Jimenez, then we can be a handful.

Meslier in goal.

Wober & Koch at CB.

Despite getting battered last time out, Bill at RB.
Firpo at (he's our best/only) LB.

Roca & McKennie

If they're all fit:

Sin/Rutter/Gnonto(play our best player FFS)

Rod up front.

^^^

In my dreams.

^^^

Gracia will opt for Bamford & Jack.
And a roulette wheel of the rest.

Must win regardless.

So apart from the result, I got everything else wrong.

Morning allπŸ‘

So, continuing with the positive theme, I’m going for a morale boosting 1-3 to us. Gnonto, Paddy and Rods.

MOT / ALAW / WACCOE (other TLAs are also available)

We have a chance definitely. More than we would with Marsch. A loss wouldn’t be a shock though and if we do lose it’s disastrous.

A win here will put us in a good position with Forest at home coming up.

Will Rodrigo start today with Bamford?
I'd like Gnonto to start over Summerville

posted on 18/3/23

Would probably go

Meslier

Ayling-Koch-Wober-Firpo

McKennie-Roca

Summerville-Rodrigo-Gnonto

Bamford
