I was expecting it. When Casemiro is out ETH seems to prefer him in the defensive role (and Fred trying to win the ball higher up the pitch0.

I expect ETH has gone for McT over Fred because he’ll offer a little more cover for Sabitzer deeper, he’ll help with set pieces and ETH expects United to dominate the ball.

Sabitzer also never carries the ball, and that’s something McT does better than Fred.

MCT isn't awful, he's just average. He's going to give up nice juicy free kicks. Perriera is going to score one of them. It's just our luck.

I don't think he's awful but also don't think he's really good enough for us. However, at times he can look really good for a spell so let's hope that's in the next few months.

I said this when they signed him. Not the Casemiro part obviously.

I heard earlier that our win record without Casemiro this season is similar to the record last season. Not hard to see why based on how we've started here
