Tbf Don his record last time as interim wasn’t too bad

You never know, he might uncover a few youth players he knows he could rely on and could do a better job than some of the frauds we have stinking out the place at the moment.

His football was dire (not Dier!)

Low blocks and sitting deep, as if he was a mini Jose

Not enjoyable...at all!

We are so screwed!

This whole thing is just rince and repeat. Mason is a modern day David Pleat.

Sack the manager, crisis, hire a new manager, get the bounce then the decline, crisis, sack the manager.

He’s bloody awful mate. If Levy thinks this is his Arteta moment, then we might as well pack it all in now.

He’s a yes man. He has zero pedigree. He was a disaster the last time after the cup final mess. Absolute shocking if it happens.

I listened to the High Performance podcast the other day with Ryan Mason - he actually came across really well and I think he will make a good coach.

Would I want him as interim? Not really and only because it's a waste of time, imo we should be moving quickly now to get our next succesor in asap so he has the rest of the season to feel out the rubbish and prepare for next season.

Mason is just another change which would be temporary right before yet another change.

=======

As a person he is top and as a coach, I have heard good things about him, but when given a chance, he reverted to being a mini Jose.

Plus, it was all about picking his mates

Yeah and tbf he did only have 5 days so probably htought our best chance would be to follow Jose tactics as that's what the players were use to and drilled in.

That said I don't want Mason as an interim, he needs to go and cut his teeth some where like Kompany, Lamard Gerard etc and get some experience.

Yeah, this. I can't understand why people are saying free agents like Pochettino, Enrique, Gallardo, Tuchel would rather wait to be appointed in the summer...

Although he wants to go he'll still want to win rather just keep conte till end of the season and get the Brighton manager who will be more attainable in the summer

A wee bit of paranoia on here, really doubt Conte will be sacked, but if he is I don't think Mason can do any worse, the 3 at the back would go because we don't have 3 defenders and this mates buisness is a load of old shat, could see some entertaining football

Looking forward to Winks returning to midfield

Don, yeah not really bothered about Mason filling in and don't see what we gain by doing that. Just keep Conte in for the remainder and maybe see if his rant has given the team a boost.

I guess Mason will come in anyway if Conte is sacked early.

Brightons manager has a release clause, will be the same now or in the summer

Rather Mason than Conte right now, even he knew it was the wrong decision to bring on Sanchez when we needed a goal against Milan.

No to Mason

Dropping NDombele for Winks was unforgivable..,

NDombele May be a bit lazy… but he’s still miles better than Winks ffs!!
