Time to unite Ireland?

Cymru, England, Ireland and Scotland as independent countries, in some kind of union with other European countries, would be good I think.

Yes I think. It would pave the way for us and Scotland to become independent to hopefully.

On a completely different topic here's a song from our long lost friend Matth

The only vaguely amusing aspect of this was the ludicrous idea that wee Jeffery and his duppies would accept the agreement. The word Yes is not in their vocabulary.

Wouldn’t it be amusing if in 10-20 years Scotland, Wales and a United Ireland were all in Europe and England was just going it alone. Would it be called Engxit?

To be fair I wouldn't be all that amused really. In the main England is a fantastic country and I'd hate for it to be left behind in its own Empire past which is where some people seem to want to take it again.

Just because I want my own country to run itself it doesn't mean I want any of our neighbours to suffer.

In answer to the question, no - now is not the time to unite Ireland(it never was united by the way).

They don't have enough support for it, nor has anybody from RoI attempted to show people they'd be better off, probably because they aren't in a position to take Northern Ireland on and therefore don't want to float the idea to them. This is the one major point people up here never take on board, do they even want us?

I’d be more than happy to have an independent England.

I’d be ecstatic if Manchester was annexed by Scotland too.

The only reason anyone here ever gives me is basically “it would be finger in the eye of the English “

How sad is that in this day and age

To clarify I mean my own country (Cymru) running itself via its own government.

Rupert Murdoch has given it a go though!
