Oh I guarantee you it will be a second rated. We already know that Levy’s preference was Tuchel - hence why Bayern jumped now, which means that either Poch has told him to do one or he has no interest in reinstating Poch - I think it’s the latter.
Which means we need to hope a bigger fish doesn’t come in for Nagelsmann - Levy absolutely won’t act quickly and decisively to scoop him up.
Appointing Arne Slot or Amorim is too intelligent for Levy. We will probably get a washed up Ancellotti in the summer or an absolute no hoper like Glasner.

You are still missing the point Devonshire - you are under an illusion that the only issue at Spurs was Conte - he wasn’t even the biggest issue at Spurs.
Loads of the fan base and we are taking at least half now are 100% completely fed up with Daniel Levy and Enic and now that Conte has (still not) gone - Danny boy he lost his scape goat. We aren’t relenting so that the bald tossser can just pretend the new manager is the problem 2 years from now.
LEVY IS THE PROBLEM
Get that khunt out of my club. Thought he was getting Tuchel - another thing he got wrong. You watch, it will be Mason until the end of the season before we have to settle for a second rate manager
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Mate.. we all know Levy is a problem but ENIC are going nowhere until THEY decide the time is right... There is simply too much money involved. All you can hope for is that they learn from some of their recent mistakes and are true to their word that Stadium revs will be reinvested back into the football team. If you don't like it, you are free to go elsewhere..... But demonstrations Vs Club ownership is pointless... Newcastle/ Man United are good examples of unpopular owners but the demo's had/ will have nothing to do with their exit...... It only happens when the size of the check meets their expectations. Thats their right and is exactly how it should be.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sure but you can hurry things along by making the ground inhospitable for them on match days like the Newcastle fans did with Ashley and the Everton fans are with Kenwright and Co (they still have some support for Moshiri).
Daniel Levy is not the major shareholder of the club, Enic are - if enough pressure is applied then they might remove Levy as chairman of the club and appoint someone who doesn’t turn their nose up at domestic cups and secondary European trophies - like Vivienne Lewis, Joe’s daughter who is said to be very much interested in taking over from Levy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Like him or not, Levy is making ENIC a fortune and annoying as Spurs current situation is... we are not everton etc, flirting with relegation and financial disaster every season.... Being a London based club with a worldwide audience/ fan base.... Its a very different situation to teams like Everton (much more localized) as long as the money keeps rolling in and the stadium is full (which it will be) no amount of booing will make any difference. Look at the revs the club is generating in the past couple of years with some of the drabbest football we've seen in the past 15 years
I'm not saying you have to like it, you just have to be a realist....For Clubs like Spurs/ Arsenal and Chelsea... the term "supporter" is dead... you're either a customer or you're not
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Owning a football club is very different to owning an Energy company - if enough fans stop going it becomes a real problem for Enic.
More than anything else though we need to convince Enic and ultimately Joe Lewis that Levy needs to go.
If all else fails - Joe Lewis is very old now, it will be another decade tops before someone else is running the show as he will be leaving his fortune to his kids and the rumour is Vivienne does not like Levy.
I hope I don’t have to wait the Khunt out, but I absolutely faaaacking will
23 years. 1 league cup.
But but but we finished fourth loads and have Beyoncé……

Well, weirdly, they should be applauded for that. To increase the clubs value by so much is a benefit to all, including us.
This is where I get baffled though. Everyone is moaning that ENIC are bleeding the club dry, but they're not are they? Yes Levy has a big wage but it's not that different from most chairman and is an insignificant amount when compared to players wages. So if all of the value to ENIC is in the club, why don't they sell? They're not taking much out, they're not putting anything in, so why are they bothering? The club will only go up in value if we start having actual success on the pitch but they seemingly don't try too hard in that regard either. None of it really makes sense.
We should pick up the phone to whichever party doesn't buy United.
Those saying that we need to force ENIC to get rid of Levy are missing a minor detail.
Levy is actually part owner of ENIC not THFC. The club are just an asset under ENIC.
So Levy would have to sack himself unless Lewis bought out his ENIC share.
The more likely scenario is that at the age of 61 Levy could and should retire early over the next few years.

Levy might stumble into a great decision - this guy had AZ Alkmaar top of the league before the Eredivisie was suspended indefinitely during Covid.
Took Feyenoord to the European conference final. Has Feyenoord top of the league and they just spanked Shakhtar 7-1 in the Europa league.
They play great football as well.
This guy or Amorim would be the best decision Levy has made since Poch

Even if you believe that neither of those two managers would consider us (I believe both would - one of the supposed best in the world came on board - money talks), there are still a whole heap of managers out there that have a real pedigree and Prem experience we could call upon. Going for the current Feyenoord manager absolutely reeks of a lack of ambition. I know they're going well over there but for every Ten Haag, there's a De Boer.
It's such a major, major risk. Wrong call in my opinion.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I hear what you're saying but we are a different profile now than we were back then. Jol came in via the back door because Santini left.
To be honest, I'm in two minds. On the one hand, yes, you're right, objectively speaking Slot and Amorim maybe do fit us if we want to build a project but on the other hand, we have probably the best stadium in the world, unrivalled training ground and academy, regularly compete for CL football so our profile maybe requires a 'name' manager. Someone you don't have to google. I think Amorim or Slot are the types of managers Brighton get. Smart, astute candidates that could be the next big thing but I'm not sure if that philosophy really flies when you're at our level. How many of the rest of the top six would go for Slot? None is the answer. That should tell you something.
I'm not against a big name manager but I am against a big name manager who's profile is very short term and doesn't really care about the type of football he plays - Jose and Conte were both in this bracket. Poch and JN are also big name, maybe on the next rung down in terms of fame, but they don't compromise on style of play, they have a progressive modern approach. There isn't a great deal of difference between where Liverpool were when Klopp came in and where we are now. He'd just won the Bundesliga and competed in the CL final with Dortmund. As good as Slot and Amorim might be, I feel like players in our squad need to feel inspired by a man they respect, not someone they have to google. The age of plucking an a brilliant unknown manager from overseas are long one. There are more Christian Gross' to the pound than there are Arsene Wenger's.

Enic fc charge the highest ticket prices in Europe
They deliver the least amount of trophies. Can you name a single other supposed ‘big’ club that has won one trophy in nearly three decades?
You are being ripped off by a property developer

ENIC supposedly making huge amounts of money from the club is a big gripe on here but can someone tell me how much they are making/taking each year? I'm interested to know. I've searched but last years accounts don't seem to highlight much (I'm no accountant though!)

We should pick up the phone to whichever party doesn't buy United.
posted on 24/3/23
Those saying that we need to force ENIC to get rid of Levy are missing a minor detail.

Every manager is a risk but do some research first. Poch coming back is a bigger risk when you consider the last 18 months of his. Obviously you will come out with a barrell of excuses because you love him so much but relax.
Nothing has been confirmed and that ITK should be treated as speculation. Nothing more or less.
