Would really fancy us at full strength but still think we can get something. Time for rutter and sinisterra to cause some trouble.
Any Leeds fans able to go on the arsenal game thread? Its closed to me for some reason. A sensitive London thing?

Mont - just posted on their thread … doesn’t seem to be any ‘Leeds’ ban … ?

NOTE TO HIGHLAND - just for interest, I see that the equivalent Arsenal match-day thread seems to have been continued for over 2 years (1st comment in 2021). I don’t know how they do it, but it might save you having to create a brand new thread for every game? (ref your comment about possibly handing over the match-day thread at the end of this season - hope you continue btw).

Meslier, Ayling, Koch, Kristensen, Struijk, Firpo, Harrison, Roca, Aaronson, Summerville, Sinisterra.

Looks like we're going 5-4-1 with either Summerville or Sinisterra as a false 9.

Pluck a duck, we're playing a 5-5-0 formation

No centre forward and 3 full backs in a back 5. And that's why we deserve relegation. Jeez ......

Meslier

Ayling
Kristensen
Koch
Struijk
Firpo

Roca

Summerville
Aaronson
Harrison
Sinisterra

Can't type it out ATM but looks like we're playing without a striker.

Trouble is all of our strikers are either at 50% battery life or just not up to speed/not actual #9s (i.e. Rutter).

Where's Cooper? Ayling-Koch pairing at CB?

Where's McKennie? Midfield looks a bit lightweight to say the least.

Why isn't Bamford or Rodrigo starting?

Very weird - can anyone explain it?

McKennie is ill, Rodrigo not fully fit. Perhaps Javi is savinf Bamford and Rodrigo for Forest.

Thank you Cornwall.

It seems to me that that's quite a daring - or possible foolish - tactical selection gamble on Gracia's part.

This is going to be a very interesting game - let's see whether it works out. Remember we gave Arsenal a really good game at ER.

So, that's Saka out of the starting 11 for them

I did not see that line up on the horizon this morning.

We probably won't know until kick off how the defensive players will be aligned but I'm thinking it will be Struiyk partnering Koch and Ayling and Firpo rb and lb.

Midfield of Roca, Rasmus ( The Terminator) and Aeronson.

Attackwise it looks like Harrison, Summerville and Sinisterra.

5 of our first eleven players miss today in Wober, Adams, Gnonto, Rodrigo and Mckennie... hopefully at least 3 of those are able to start on Tuesday.

Oh I've just seen Rodrigo and Mckennie are on the bench so we do have some decent subs if needed.

Looks like damage limitation and keeping powder dry for Tuesday to me, think I should go back to bed.

Looking to defend for 90mins by the looks of it. Not sure i like the look of it.

Sini on his own up front?

Maybe saving best 11 for forest

posted on 1/4/23

I dont see Rasmus in midfield at all. Five defenders i reckon. More likely to see Struijk in midfield that R K

The longer it stays 0-0 the better. Think if they get 1, they'll get a hat full. Hope Sini's hams hold out longer than last time he started.

Yes I think you're right so probably a back five but then the centre of midfield is basically Roca and Aaronson which definitely worries me and brings back memories of when we got thrashed 5 nil at Highbury and relegated in 2004.

Looks a strange line up. Maybe Harrison as a false 9?
