Sadly, I think Cooper has 45 mins to save his job. I don’t want him to be sacked, even if we go down. I don’t think any managers could have kept us up this season given the clamping of players we needed and the short time between the playoffs and the season starting.

However, if you are the owner, you can see why you might pull the trigger. We are likely going down and very little sign of improvement. so I guess he will see it as a no brained.

Constant pressure is always going to tell. We don’t have an out ball to relieve the pressure, and as stated concede again in added time. We aren’t out of this, but we need to change our shape and somehow become more threatening. Possibly go 5 at the back, but to me that didn’t work against Wolves, as it still invites pressure. ATM Cooper is looking a bit bewildered. I hope he has an answer.

Very likely.

Massive 45 minutes for Mr Cooper. If we don't win we are back in the relegation zone and will realistically stay there until the end of the season. We need to play like we did in the first 10 minutes for the next 45. The last 20 minutes of the first half was like watching 5 year olds play just hoofing the ball anywhere and then waiting for it to come right back at us. I hope we win but we need a miracle.

The problem is we have to score a minimum of 3 goals to get a win away from home. It’s so hard though to put together a prem defence in one summer. I think sadly we do have some good players who could work out in the prem such as Filipe, Mangala and Danilo. The injuries really didn’t help to be fair. I am not sure we would have been any better in defence though as we have never looked good in that dept. At least we have made a season of it. Could have easily folded along time ago

Shelvey for Mangala I’d have preferred Kouyate
Awoniyi for Danilo

Williams night could get more difficult if they bring Gnonto on.

Shelvey done well since he’s been on. Looks like we are going more direct. Makes sense, need more pressure on them

We may as well pile attackers on cause we will almost certainly concede again. Just don’t sense danger at all!

If we sack Cooper, we will just sleepwalk to relegation. The whole club will be flat. It won’t boost the fans or lift the atmosphere. It will do the opposite.

I think we will go down either way, but with Cooper we will go down fighting and with the fans onside! Then maybe he stays for next season too.

I don’t think we really know how to play when behind. We rarely have periods of pressure. We don’t know what to do with the ball. No real idea of what we are trying to do. Relying on some luck or a bit of skill I think

Thank feck Bamford is so carp. He is the most overrated centre forward in English football.
