Crisis is just the media getting overexcited.
There are 9 teams down the bottom fighting for their premiership lives who would love to be in our crisis situation.
My take would be most of Chelsea's problems can be resolved by having a new manager that knows what he's doing, there is clearly talent in that squad. Add a manager and a striker that regularly finds then net and they will be back next season.
United just need more quality in their squad, they miss a player or two in the wrong area and they are suddenly a bang average team. You would think they will have the money to do this in the summer and if the takeover happens it might even allow them to go get the 4/5 top players they need to make them challengers.
Liverpool have a class manager and for the most part a very good team. They need a new midfield and to replace Firmino and they should be fine. The big question is where do they get the money to do that. If Bellingham is who they want then i don't see how they have money to do much else because they don't have anyone they are likely to sell that brings in a lot of money.
Spurs need a proper manager that suits the club, there's not an obvious option if you accept that Chelsea would have the better shout on Nagelsmann which they probably do. They need to fix every area of their team this summer and will imo be forced to sell Kane to recoup money plus heavily invest or they could get lost in the new Top 7.
United
Chelsea
Liverpool
Spurs
Would be the order in terms of difficulty/likelihood of being able to fix imo.
Usual media BS. We need to ignore it before we eat ourselves..which is exactly what they want.
Our issues can be fixed by signing defenders and a half decent manager, not much of a crisis

How many defenders though?
Is the midfield fine? I don't think so.
Will you have to replace the main man? Possibly.
I think it's fair game from the media calling us a club in crisis. We have no first team manager for both the men's and women's team. We have a director of football about to be banned from doing his job worldwide. We have a world class striker that wants out and a huge rebuild needed with no one to steer the ship. I think that's a fair assessment.
I don't think Chelsea are necessarily in the same position. The biggest issue they have, and you've not mentioned it above, is that they have a bloated squad on very, very long contracts. Mudryk has an 8 year deal. Now I'm not saying he's going to flop but if he does, how do you get him off your books to reinvest funds in the squad. Anyone coming in is hamstrung by players they can't shift. Boehly has massively dropped the ball on that one. He hasn't factored in that managers need their own players to do their thing. It's fantasy football to believe that you can control all levels of recruitment at board level without any involvement from management. Nagelsmann will have his own ideas and many of those bought under Tuchel and then Potter won't fit the profile. They can't keep spending money. Eventually they're going to come to a point where they hit failure and have nowhere to turn financially. They're banking on the current crop working and that just isn't realistic. They'll also need a manager that can handle a bloating squad, keep them happy, avoid dressing room dissent. I personally don't think JN is that guy. I've got a feeling it's another move he'll regret.
Crisis? What a load of fecking ballocks.
a 50/50 chance of top 4, a squad with quite a few good players in it, even if we have some bad as well.
Crisis is the likes of southampton who are bordering on relegation.
Talk about OTT

All depends on what way the next manager wants to play.
No manager, dof might go to prison, best player may well leave, hundreds of millions in debt, no trophies of note in over 30 years,
Stadiums nice, record profits and er Beyoncé
Seriously what is the point of supporting your club if it never seems to want to actually win anything? If every single managers remit is to come fourth, get some yummy money for shareholders and maintain the status quo?
I don’t care about any other club. I care about Tottenham Hotspur. I care about the glory this club was built on. I care about the principles of Danny blanchflower, Dave McKay, Jimmy greaves, Steve perryman, glen hoddle, Paul Gascogne, Poch, Kane
I don’t care about Daniel levy announcing record profits or guns and roses.
For me this club is in crisis. It has lost its identity. List what it stands for. That is why it’s such a mess.
Everton are a club in crisis.
Awful squad of players
Resorted to a hoof ball manager to save them
18th place
Sold 2 star players to balance the books
Remaining star player is more concerned about cross dressing than getting on the end of crosses
The books are still buggered and not they are being investigated for breaching PL FFP rules.
Will likely have a transfer embargo place on them, minimum
If they are relegated are under serious threat of going bust.
Yet are still spending 100s of millions on a new stadium.
I am not denying that things have been going wrong at Spurs but Everton are the modern day "doing a Leeds" and are a warning to all those demanding new ownership, be careful what you wish for because that lot have spent over £500m in a few seasons and are now going down the toilet.
BTW you forgot to add the £1bn debt that Man Utd now have to their list of Cons.
More spurs fans getting overexcited than the media. You have it far better than most of the teams in England but cry more than any.
Shut up and relax ffs.
Spurs are more of a comedy club than one in crisis. We have an Austin Powers villain for a chairman & a Bond villain that lives on a boat for an owner. We find ways grab defeat from the jaws of victory, a slightly overrated opinion of ourselves but keep coming back for more due to some crazy deluded view of the "beautiful game & That when we play it, we do it just that little bit better than most !
There has never been a better term than "style over substance" to describe Spurs. I don't want my football team to be an efficient winning machine..... I like the Glory.... If that means we have to stumble from the odd crisis from one year to the next..... so be it
Seriously what is the point of supporting your club if it never seems to want to actually win anything? If every single managers remit is to come fourth, get some yummy money for shareholders and maintain the status quo?

Well nothing if you take it out of context. Maybe read my whole post. đź‘Ť
Grandsours……. Are you Sandy????????
I’ve figured it out. You’re f a cking Sandy. Same as Steve F. It makes so much sense now!!!!
The media will always look for the positives in whatever state Varpool & Penited are in, they can`t bring themselves to go against their darlings ever.
The media are not stupid and know that they are better off standing inside the tent of the two best (glory) supported clubs and spitting out, than standing outside the tent spitting in. (I am sure there is a Carragher pun somewhere here).
It really would be wonderful if these two clubs disappeared out of existence.

I did and you are a plank. As for being Sandy most on here have known me since the old 606 and know full well I am not Sandy but if you are stupid enough to believe I am not at all surprised
A comparison thread involving Chelsea, Liverpool, Man utd and Spurs.....
