No tkt for me either
Not sure how you can miss out EVERY time when there’s only around 30k on the home cup ticket scheme !
Just been running around the meadows with Kev Clancy. He is wearing a green t-shirt
Obviously hoping for a win, but even if we don't get that, a much improved performance at Celtic Park should be an absolute minimum from us.
The way we have folded there twice in the last 3 games has been utterly unacceptable.
We deserved to win the new year old firm.
We didn't really turn up until we were 2-0 down in the cup final.
We simply cannot capitulate in the manner we have done at Celtic Park in recent games.
As for the Morelos or Colak debate....both $hite imo, would tend towards Morelos, try and at least get someting out of him before he goes at the end of this season.
A lot of folk raving about Tillman at the moment...guy has played in 3 old firms, and done sod all in all of them, subbed off relatively early doors in the 2nd half on two occasions. If we are going to be spending £5m on this lad, these are the games he needs to step up in, not in an relatively comfortable home win at against the side that are bottom of the table, got enough squad players to see games like that out.
A win really would be a huge result for us, and could act as a spring board to put real pressure on you lot for the run in.......something you've not really had to contend with since reclaiming top spot.
Anything other than a win for us.....think that's it over, highly highly unlikely that we will get anywhere near you at the top if we don't win on Saturday.
See folk that don’t think Tilman is worth signing, need your head checked.
Guy is 20 and has 10 goals from 25 games in league from midfield. Made the difference in big games vs PSV, and Union in the CL qualifiers. He wasn’t fully fit in last Celtic game. Folk judging him on two games alone, are mental. He’s been our best player this season, and it’s his first season playing senior football. He’s only going to get better. It’s a no brainer to sign him if we can.
It’s a must win game but league is already over regardless of result for me. Chances of us dropping points against the rest are greater than chances of Celtic dropping points.

It’s the balance of spending £5m of whatever “warchest” Beale is supposedly getting in the summer plus matching his wage demands against all the other priority positions needing filled.
And for a player who it is fair to say has yet to show he can do it in the big games. So far he hasn’t. Massive gamble but one I think they’ll try and take to appease a very disgruntled and split fan base.
Likelihood is that with a new manager back at his club he might fancy his chances back there.

The CL qualifiers were arguably the biggest games of our season. Had the biggest impact on the club and our finances certainly. He certainly turned up in those games. So a nonsense to say he hasn’t done it in big games. Would be daft to only judge him on two old firm games he’s been fully fit.
The squad will be turned over, but our best player and a good chance of young player of the year. So as much as 5m may seem a lot, he’d probably be worth more straight away. Even if our budget is 10m he’s worth the outlay.

Would agree with the comments above. Might be worth the gamble, if your team is going to improve. You will need prospects like him. But he might also be another Kent, big price with limited resale value. Or a journey man you get stuck with for a while. There's a risk, but if he delivers in your CL qualifiers, it's a risk worth taking.

Yet you’ve judged him on 2 CL games? How does that work?
It’s not just the outlay. It’ll be his wage demands and if he’s that good then others will throw their hat in the ring.
Add to which, how much will the club need for a decent goalkeeper and a striker which are the bare minimum required?
Spending 50% of a £10m budget (if he has that) on Tillman makes no sense to me. Be delighted if they do it mind and he may get more money. Who knows?
As for him immediately being worth more; completely irrelevant unless the plan is to move him on pretty much right away as that £5m is spent by that point.

I’m judging him on the full season and as I’ve said he’s probably been our best player….. Was simply responding to the point he hasn’t turned up in big games, he has, but hasn’t turned up in two games. Understandable that other teams fans judge players when they see them against their own, but would be idiotic for us to only judge only those games.
He’s twenty years old and clearly massively talented, if he fails in the next few old firms doubts might start to grow, but he’s been our best player this season. Resale value obviously matters, that and getting to the CL are key to us growing. Bigger question is as you say is his wages and whether he’d want to stay.
The striker position is key for us, but even spending doesn’t guarantee a good signing. Could easily fail if we spend 5m there. So as much as the 5m is a lot for us, it’s not a lot in the market given how good he’s been.
Goalkeeper really shouldn’t be hard to improve, McGregor has been poor for two years now. Who we get in rather than what we spend is more important there.
I admire your positivity. I know what it was like for us to get a keeper.
And as for a striker, I’ve genuinely no idea who we would have targeted and for how much were it not for Postecoglou and his knowledge of other markets.

Never for a second thought he’d make it in time and I’m fine with that. We should still be more than good enough and if not, it is what it is.
Prefer him to be there for the semi final and the game at Ibrox anyway.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s the balance of spending £5m of whatever “warchest” Beale is supposedly getting in the summer plus matching his wage demands against all the other priority positions needing filled.
And for a player who it is fair to say has yet to show he can do it in the big games. So far he hasn’t. Massive gamble but one I think they’ll try and take to appease a very disgruntled and split fan base.
Likelihood is that with a new manager back at his club he might fancy his chances back there.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The CL qualifiers were arguably the biggest games of our season.
