I know we're gassed. But
I'm with ETH, try and win every game.
I don't think we can pick and choose,
Top 4 and another cup would be fecking great.
Then a couple of good signings.... I'm dreaming a bit now, but the first part, go for it
I’ve just seen Raya is 4 inches shorter than Dave, don’t know if that’s a good thing
I think we overplay the tiredness bit too. Had we scored a second tonight then I don't think we'd have looked tired. I think that was just more anxiety with a narrow lead more than anything which made us retreat. Even then Brentford didn't really pin us back.
Goals can really change the perception of matches.

rosso, saw some stats that he recovers the ball as much as most defensive mids in the prem this season or something.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Most ball recoveries for United this season as well
It’s what the cover shadowing does in keeping the pressure on the opposition in their own third (hopefully leading to forcing them going long, a mistake or a collapse press opportunity) and preventing quick transitions too.
It’s so valuable. I’m boring, I know but I still think he’s United’s most underrated player.
Apart from Bruno and Rashford none of those players tonight have played an excessive amount of football IMO.
We looked better for most of the game tonight simply because we kept it better.
A weak team in the FA cup? Against Brighton?
And that wonder kid upfront.
Nah fam, gonna be a bloody tough game.
Not on the 40th anniversary of the UTD v Brighton final, are we losing to them. No sir!

Fun fact:
Bruno has played more minutes this season than Eric Bailly and Phil Jones have in their two careers combined.

Wow. I'll dine out on that nugget when I go to Sniltub next week.
Enjoyed that, atmosphere was decent. Players seemed up for it and were snapping into tackles from the off, Brentford never got into it really. Lacked some creativity at times but kept the ball better, tried to overplay it if anything around the box but again everyone just seemed to want someone else to play the killer ball. Missing Eriksen in that regard. Good reset and a good reaction after the Newcastle game.

A bit more help would come from any partner for Casemiro with a bit more mobility. Someone who could get up and down a bit more purposefully but had Eriksen’s intelligence and level of press resistance (which isn’t even outstanding, but is better than United’s other CMs) would make a big difference.
Nice to actually enjoy a United performance though lads

I think you'd take a lot away from his game from an attacking sense though. It's a shame really you can't combine Fred and Eriksen. Friksen or Erired.
How many minutes has Sabitzer had next to Casemiro?

Not many I bet! Which is a shame. Not saying he's the answer but it would have been good seeing him have an opportunity.
Having Casemiro, Eriksen, Fred, Sabitzer and McT fit should hopefully serve us well for the run in.
If we managed to kill games a bit earlier we could protect some players from cards, any tiredness etc.
I'm liking the look of Sabitzer tbh. He was a bit player previously and has come to a new league in January. Needs time
