Sabitzer is the Austrian McTominay.
The amount of times McT has got the ball deep and been able to break forward with it, does that fairly well, then fails to do anything useful with the ball
Still on the De Jong wagon and think ETH will be too if there’s a chance.

I think you'd take a lot away from his game from an attacking sense though. It's a shame really you can't combine Fred and Eriksen. Friksen or Erired.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You’d lose a lot of the really valuable work he does off the ball out of possession in his current role, too.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Of course. I think it's pretty unanimous on here we need another midfielder. If we got one we could use Eriksen as cover for Bruno as well. I'm certain Eriksen was meant to be that player anyway.

But unfair. Takes time to settle in. Seems to be an intelligent player. Think he could be a decent signing of he settles in

I think he's decent but I'm not sure we should be spending £20m of the midfield budget on someone who doesn't really offer what we really need in CM.

I think it's often a lack of movement up front. But we need better than mct
He’d be a pointless signing when we already have average players like him that we need to get rid of.

It's a difficult one for me. I just think a new league and a new team needs time. We don't have that currently as we are fighting on so many fronts.
Most players coming in Jan would have struggled imo
I think McT had a very good game tonight

He really can’t thread a pass when needed. It’s diabolical his lack of vision and composure to find an easy pass, like the ones he had tonight.
Sure he worked hard, defended well...
but man, good opportunities wasted in attack

I'm not saying no but I don't think it's a move that would really suit either party. The player would want game time (Which I don't think he'd get that much of) and the club needs a different kind of player. If we played a midfield three and didn't have Bruno then he may have a better chance.
I think Sabitzer is a much better option long term to be part of the squad and rotation with regular games across all competitions, along with Casemiro Eriksen Bruno and another new CM.
Better footballer than Fred and McT and for under £20m if we could get a similar amount for an outgoing he’d be a better standard of squad player. If not first choice.
Fred’s better than Sabitzer.
Maybe more useful at the moment when we still aren’t a side that controls games, all he’s used for is to hassle the opponent. Sabitzer imo was calm today and involved in a lot of the recycling of possession.
He’s just a more impactful player. He even offers more in attack. I really don’t see the need for signing Sabitzer when we need a cm that can command a starting spot and someone that can cover for Casemiro.

What about him?
Beat Everton and we can put our feet up and watch Brighton and, or, Spurs drop points.
Newcastle re gonna drop points. They’ve got too big fo4 their boots. Talking reckless about UTD.
They had no fight to win a trophy, but beat us in the league, and they are having a fooking parade like Liverpool players did.
Suddenly tonight, they trying to be humble smashing West Ham. Ok Newcastle, it’s back on. I tell you something, I’d love, I’d love if we finish above them!!
And I tell you something, they have to get a result.
Cos we are MAN UTD DAMMIT! AND WE’LL NEVER DIE!!!!
Newcastle have a handy run in. I think Brighton will finish above Spurs
Newcastle have some tough games coming up, but we need to just keep some distance between ourselves and the teams below us - namely Spurs and Brighton. Will make life easier for ourselves when it comes to rotating for the important cup games we have coming up.
Villa could drag themselves into things if they can keep up this run of form they’ve been on.
