You have been predicting WW3 since the old 606.
Get yersen on the trip to Mars.
We will nuke the Chinese and warn them off
Apparently Tongo and Samoa are the places to be, no strategic interest and stuck in the middle of nowhere.
Australia is unlikely to be a target, so no fall.out from that...so , go book your flights and get out there.
Ahh the customary world war 3 thread. Been a few months since one of these cropped up

I'm guessing Western Samoa being closer to American Samoa than Liverpool is to Manchester might kinda put them at risk.
NATO and the EU have little appetite for ending the war in Ukraine so there's no chance that China invading Taiwan will affect Europe in any way apart from a shortage of cheap electrical goods.

Unlike Ukraine, the US have an agreement to step in and help Taiwan if China invades. That will very much affect Europe.

Europe will just say China are the bad guys and America are the good guys, no way will anyone be sending troops to the other side of the planet because of this.
China are not that stupid to start a war...
The US sanctions are really hurting their electronic industry and economy. So, they are delaying the shipments from Taiwan to cause global shortage of computer chips.

It’s not even really about troops though. If the US and China engage in a full on war then everyone on the planet suffers.
Do Taiwan even have an army?
Can't imagine that being a long drawn out affair anyway. China's resources are infinite in comparison.
The world has gone truly bonkers again though of late. Probably never stopped being though really.
I prefer Togo to Tonga anyway, the Chinese prefer the Pacific to the Atlantic !

Taiwan would be able to hold off China for quite a while tbf. There’s only two times a year China could launch an amphibious invasion and even that would be extremely hard as Taiwans beaches are boobytrapped beyond belief.
Experts say Taiwan could last a few months holding off China and by that point the US would be involved fully.
