I try to ignore the press, bunch of clowns and that's just for football...
Well you no longer have the advantage - City do with a slightly superior goal, that’s just fact.
City beat you very comfortably at your ground and you never seem to get even close to a result at theirs.
City have a habit at this point of the season of just winning game after game after game.
Arsenal have the harder run in - I can’t see Arsenal winning at Newcastle and then there are other potential banana skins like Brighton and Chelsea.
No one is questioning City’s bottle because we have seen them fend off Liverpool from this position a couple of times before. Whereas Arsenal are a young team with non for a manager, you could succumb to the pressure

Hard to ignore but share your sentiments.
Given the respective position of both clubs in recent seasons, the press will jump on the narrative of City chasing down Arsenal… perfectly normal I think.
And technically City do have it in their hands now.
I still think Arsenal might do it. City have something missing this season imo - a softer centre than usual.

Truth is no one can predict what will happen. Everyone said we would fall apart after the last loss, we went and won seven in a row. There's no reason why we can't go to Newcastle and win. Our away record is excellent. If we go there and we can put out our best eleven I'd back us to win.
Our target at the start of the season was Top4.
We are almost there. Anything else is a bonus
Trust me as a Liverpool fan ....
This is where city never miss a beat .
We could have had 3 or 4 Premier league titles but city just always find a way.
I think most of us are rooting for the gunners but I think ye will finish second ....
City don't have the points advantage but I'd still say they're favourites. This is their bread and butter, and only last year we crumbled when it mattered for top 4.
It's been a fantastic season regardless, the huge positives are clear now when honestly I don't think they were in Arteta's first season's.
It's still in our hands but the City players and Pep have far more experience and it will take a monumental effort for our boys to take the title
You can’t grasp why people would back the team who have done this over and over again rather than a team who has popped up out of almost nowhere, with almost zero pedigree among their players or manager?
Not to mention Arsenal are benefitting hugely from how few games they’ve played over the last few seasons, their performance this season has been as much about freshness as it has quality. It all adds up to a bit of a false position.
You aren’t the same calibre of side that City are hence people still think City will win the league.
Our record since losing to City is won 7 and drawn 1. Like I have always maintained, if we don't win it, it will not go down as "Arsenal bottling it"

ffs you lot are so touchy. I don’t see how you can argue with anything I’ve said there. You don’t think for example that Arsenal playing 45 games last season and Liverpool playing 63 would give you a huge advantage over them going into this season in terms of energy?
Grow up ffs.
Ian Wright said it well yesterday with how the media sky especially tried to scapegoat Xhaka for reacting to a shove. What else was he supposed to do. Every player would react and it had nothing to do with us coming back. Thar was down to the first goal we scored.

We are top because we deserve to be. The table never lies. We've got a group of players who are of a high standard who will only get better with age.
No one’s saying you don’t deserve it, your performances are what they are. Simply pointing out that there are certain factors that have enabled that performances that other clubs haven’t benefitted from, like Liverpool.
Yes I agree you will continue to be up there, though it will be dependent on you sorting out your squad depth.
You get what you put out there, and the negative performance from Arsenal is reflected in the negative press.
Arsenal ceded control of the match and, in doing so, ceded control of the title race. Not for the first time this season, Arsenal stopped playing after going in front, only this time Liverpool were at least competent enough to get a draw despite being s***.
If other teams follow their example then Arsenal won't win the league for sure. Better teams than them would beat this Arsenal side if they had the courage to play the same way.

We have a much smaller squad than both city and pool. It was slightly reinforced in Jan but as a squad, it is one of the smallest
Anfield is just a horrible fixture for all the big teams.
City have won there once in the last 30 years

Football goes in cycles Liverpool's time is coming to an end certainly with the group of players they have now That's what your seeing this season with them. For us two or three clever additions in the summer and we will be set.

2/3 quality signings in the summer and you’ll be able to go again. Your midfield seems pretty ageing tbh so I assume that’s where the focus will be? Maybe another CB

Agree on Arsenal but I’m not sure Liverpool are finished yet. If they can recharge over summer and make a few shrewd signings they can be back in business again too
Liverpool will be back next season absolute no doubt about that. They need to get rid of some players and strenthen their midfield and defense.
I think this is article is spot on really. In previous seasons I would have feared for you, in that City could easily go on a 10 game winning streak at any point, but this City team is not capable of doing that.
I think they will drop points in at least 2 or 3 of those. I could see them beating you at the Etihad but I don’t think it will matter. 87 points for Arsenal will be enough and I stand by that.
