Well at least we've avoided relegation. By accident DS has at least realised the potential of Molyeneux and Barlow too when paying them where it suits them best rather than the system and process. So I'd expect Rovers to score. Stevenage will have the promotion jitters but they'll have enough Stevenage to win 2-1 Molyeneux or Barlow to score.
Think we'll be in for a damn good thrashing, this is the game they will be looking at to push up their goal difference, as I believe this season, it will go down to who has the best to go straight up. The others will be fighting for the playoffs.
After Saturday, even though we were 2 up, you could see these players weren't up for a fight. Then just iike before, they let them back in, infact, we should of lost, but for a very bad miss.
As I left the ground, walking back to the train station, I said to myself, that's it, that's me done with this club till things change. From top to bottom, we need a clear out, including Coppinger, as he has been very instrumental in our fall from grace.
All through the Richardson era, I've never seen so much hatred as I witnessed on Saturday. Fans are starting turn on one another, fighting in the South Stand the previous weekend over DS and his tactics.
As my mate at work said, until people vote with their feet, nothing will change. Unfortunately, some fans are sleepwalking back into none league again. Saying give him the summer to bring in his type of player, unfortunately, those type of players will cost millions, something we haven't got.
Over 50yrs, man n boy, followed us everywhere, until we have a new manager or this board sell up, I won't be watching any more.
Could be an embarrassing night, can't see us getting lucky, so will go, 4-0 loss.
They do not seem to score too many goals and so 2-1 to Stevenage with Barlow getting our goal. May change this after seeing the team!
I had always assumed that Copps was sensitive man, someone who would always put Rovers and the supporters first and foremost, but he has proved me and many others wrong. His protegee is a one-dimensional failure with nothing about to him to suggest that he can even form a balanced judgement on what goes on in matches, let alone coach or manage. He can never have inspired anyone ever in his whole life.
By sticking by him, Copps is being utterly naïve and at the same time putting the future of the club in grave danger.
It is insane to put money into Schofield's hands. How on earth can we believe that the players he will choose will be any good when we know his judgement is so bad? And since he has made the current ones worse, how can we believe he will do any better with a new set?
I'm afraid that I now feel that the only way to convince the Board to get rid of him (and probably Copps too) is for them to lose all the remaining games badly.
Don't know about sensitive Donaldo, sensible is what's needed. I don't believe that he can be so daft as not to see the problem. 😐
No confidence whatsoever 😕
Stevenage 3-0 Rovers
Forgot to predict prior to kick off. 11 mins in and 0-0 so hopefully ok to still forecast. 1-1. Barlow.
Got to say, Stevenage are......... poor. We were they for the taking, but, they just lumped balls forward..... all game.
How can a team as poor as Stevenage be second in League 2? I did not watch much of the game as I opted to watch Chelsea lose again against Real Madrid.
No attempts on goal in the first half, and only 2 in the second half (one on target but straight at the GK). At least Chelsea had 19 shots with 6 on target.
DS has to go, and sadly, so should Copps. The thought of DS wasting TB's money is just a nightmare.
I think I may have said before that I'm cancelling my iFollow subscription. That is very sad after over 70 years of support.
I just hope someone in the hierachy read these comments.
Steve Evans knows full well that at this level hoof ball gets results but that's as far as he ever gets. DS fails miserably to understand what's needed at this level. His insistence on sticking to his 343 system when only winning 1 in 13 games speaks volumes on his suitability to manage. Trouble is nobody's listening
I see Richie Wellens has gained promotion with Orient. I guess he has the last laugh!
On the DFP I read what DS said after the game. but I have not had the guts to listen to his"words salad spew" (an expression over here used of people mot understanding what is going on, or wanting to deflect from the truth).
If he recognizes the problem, why has he not done anything about it? He has to go!
I basically do not like Steve Evans, but he obviously knows how to get an average team out of League Two!
