Anyone but Luton and Millwall. London are already packed with premier league clubs
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Luton is not London
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The airport's called London Luton.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But its not on London its in Luton
Newcastle's closest Prem rivals are Leeds, then City atm.
Would be good if Sunderland were promoted.

It would be nice if it wasn’t one of the yo-yo teams like Boro or Sheff Utd
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Boro have been down long enough that they're no longer a yoyo team.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I suppose so. Would still be nice to have a PL virgins though - there’s so few of them in the Championship now.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agree in principle. For me Brentford (new) and Forest (ages since we saw them) have scratched that itch to some extent. Arbitrarily, I'd quite like Millwall in the PL but feel like we have zero need for Luton. But as I said, Middlesbrough have been gone long enough that it doesn't feel like a familiarity breeding contempt dynamic.

London Stansted and London Gatwick. Both not in (G) London, too.
Yeah none of these airports are part of Greater London, I'm guessing they add London into their names so that people aren't put off about flying to them as they are all accesible to London within an hour.

Also makes Luton Stansted etc. airports very profitable.
Would love Boro to be back in the Prem. Would like to see how Carrick manages in the prem. Could be a future Utd manager.

There's an airport called London Southend as well... I wouldn't use that has your yardstick!
Fascinated to see how Kompany and hopefully Carrick get on next season.
Wish them both well. Quality players, decent people.
When a Northerner says "London" they usually just mean anywhere in the South East.
Equally, whenever someone from the South East says "Northern" they mean anywhere north of London.

“Lady shapes”
Is it? Didn't know you were from the South East.
I was born in Manchester but I’ve lived down here for quite some time now.
And yes, it is.
Maybe it’s the intellect of the people we hang around with.
Yes, obviously the people you hang around with don't have the intellect to notice light hearted comments that are meant to be taken with a pinch of salt and are not a debate starter. The autistic community is well known for that...

its just 30 miles away in South Bedfordshire.
Gatwick Airport is further away from London than Luton Airport.
Light hearted?
If that was your idea of humour then no wonder you’re such a bore.
Good to see you revert to type and bring mental disorders into it again. Inkeeping with the class you’ve shown recently of mocking people for being suicidal and wishing people would get cancer and die.
Nice guy.
You are so desperate to get into a massive argument 😂😂😂
Imagine getting upset by someone from the South East joking that anywhere north of London is considered by us as Northern 😂😂😂
You are not from the South East so don't speak for us tou Northern caaaant.
Anyone flown from London Tesside recently?

Nope, I just replied. It’s a forum.
You got upset and angry, and you can’t let it go.
Lydd Airport, also known as London Ashford, is probably the furthest away from London. It is also not that near to Ashford.
