Brennan Johnson with the softest of pens like every other week.
Can’t really see us getting a win which is what we need. I could see a couple of draws but no 3 points, just left ourselves with too much to do

I cant help but keep thinking back to Aug 13, 2-0 up at Southampton, 20 minutes to go, Marsch has gone on about managing in the heat...Southampton make 3 subs, score instantly, then equalise. THEN we make our subs.
That has come back to haunt us.
----------------------------------------------------------
I also think that foul at Spurs by Kane on Meslier was a turning point.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There are dozens of turning points to choose from. Fact is, the only direction we've turned in is down. We haven't generated any momentum, we haven't had any kind of positive form. You look at the other teams in the relegation battel, a month ago, there were nine of us, but Palace, Wolves, Bournemouth and West Ham have pulled their socks up, and played their way to safety. They all had injuries, and bad VAR decisions, and unlucky defeats. As you said a couple of weeks back, Jonty, you didn't see where our next point is coming from.
I suspect it won't be against Newcastle.
Can we get 2 wins and a draw from last 3? Anything less and I think we’re down. I believe the pitiful GD, which we acquired as a result of our last 3 disastrous games under Gracia, will ultimately do for us.
Only positive thinking I have is;
Newcastle - Loud crowd, fans getting behind the team at home and we pull off a magical result at ER
West Ham - There eyes will be on the Conference league semi finals, won't be that set on beating us, will probably rest most key players.
Tottenham - Looking sure favourites for the Conference league, imo, they wont want that and will probably settle for less than a win. Spurs fans believe they'll crumble if ER is rocking and we get into them.
I know there's still a glimmer or a flicker still we may do the unthinkable and win 2 games but it would be ironic if Gelhardt and Jack Clarke at Sunderland or even Dramah at Luton gets to inspire their sides to experience Premier league football next season while we have to slog it out in the Championship again.
We need a miracle for sure now. Even two wins might not be enough. Only glimmer of hope is we win one more than Forest and Leicester, and Forest don’t score a hatful second half. We still have a five goal advantage over Forest as if stands.
All our relegation rivals showing some get up and go, which, as I said last week, is going to get them something at some point.
Not sure any team has been second from bottom at this point and survived.
Still think it will go to last day, but don't think we'll get lucky 2 seasons in a row.
If we go down, we'll have spent the following:
Rodrigo 30m
Llorente 17m
Koch 13m
James 25m
Raphinha 17m
Firpo 13m
Adams 20m
Aaronson 30m
Sinisterra 25m
Costa 15m
Harrison 15m
Roca 15m
Gyabi 5m
Gnonto 5m
Wober 13m
Rutter 35m
Kristiansen 13m
Meslier 5m
Gelhardt 1m
and of course JKA 18m
that's 330m for 1 decent season, 2 rubbish ones and probable relegation.
Indefensible.
In theory it could all change again next weekend if we get a win.
Chelsea v Forest
Everton v City
Leicester v Liverpool
We just HAVE to beat Newcastle!
If only Wober and Koch managed that once in a while
Southampton giving it a real go.
really looks like we are the worst team in this league
Game over. Worst team in the league scored a 4th
Brilliant goal to be fair
That’s assist from gibbs white is sensational… none of our players have that kinda composure in the pen area to do that.
We have Bamford to miss sitters when needed - other teams have that
Forest have had like 4 or 5 goal attemps but have taken the lot.

Certainly watching todays games we are! Even Southampton look a better side than us.
Mind you Sam has only had one game. You never know what he’s got up his sleeve for Saturday.
Crazy that our 3 relegation rivals have scored 12 goals between them today.
