Yes Skip should have been sent off
2 in europe i think jota is off every time, but this season https://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/12684549/ref-watch-erling-haaland-lucky-to-avoid-red-for-high-boot-on-joachim-andersen seen a few not given as reds. last i remember was collins bu t it was proper kung fu stuff vs city for wolves?

3 i felt richarlison went down very easily, stuff salah gets slammed for and never gets given players pullhng him bk by the shoulders/neck. So if it was given i'd be a bit pee'd off. But yeah seen em given for less too.

He was clearly trying to play the ball.

I think any other interpretation of that incident is bizarre.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We will agree to disagree

That angle of studs with that amount of force anywhere near the knee and it’s a straight red. Why should the head be any different.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
In that case Skipp should have been sent off for nearly breaking Diaz's ankle. Straight red as you said.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Difference being I thought Skipp played the ball first. Granted I didn’t rewind back to rewatch. So I could be wrongbut at the time I thought a yellow seemed fair.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He didn't play the ball at all. Missed completely and nearly broke Diaz's leg.

If you endanger the safety of an opponent, either accidentally or intentionally, you deserve to be sent off. That`s what Jota did, it was a red card tackle there is no debate. Because he plays for Varpool he was let off with it, it is that simple.

And then you have that mug Klopp coming out moaning about the referee, with his usual deflectionary nonsense. The bloke really is detestable, he is a bad loser, disrespectful and a giant skid mark on the underpants of the PL. He suits the Varpool fanbase perfectly.

Klopp is the worst sore loser in the league tbf. He manages your team, I get it. But surely even you must cringe when you see him bullying officials, looking like a rabid chimp as he froths at the beautifully Turkish cultivated mouth.

Great manager, but by God, the man's a lunatic

Klopp was a disgrace yesterday and he should be punished.

The impact that behaviour has on kids and youth football should not be underestimated.

👍 You'd have thought they would be used to losing to us and finishing below us in the League by now!

Skipp clear red card
Jota - one of those that can go either way, lucky not to be sent off
Pen - another that can go either way and Konate was lucky

The Skipp non red would have ended the game
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Skipp, clear red for a potentially season ending tackle on Diaz and as such it's the ref's fault Skipp got injured.
Jota, high boot wouldn't have happened if Skipp had rightly been sent off.
Richarlison dived and should have seen yellow for simulation.

Did sniffers cringe when Fergie treated officials like punching bags? I don't think so. They said it was drive and desire but with Klopp it's bullying. No double standards please.

Bringing up a manager who hasn’t managed in the PL for 10 years as a defence for Klopp’s actions yesterday is bizarre.

I think when Fergie bullied officials he was called a bully tbf. It's not a unique trait but it's one Klopp exhibits on a more regular basis than even Fergie did.

You think so? You have to wonder why he didn't give the stonewall pen against Konate then. And why he didn't send Jota off (I don't think he should have been sent off but a biased ref def would have sent him on his way)

first off, it's patently stupid to appeal for a red card when your player has thrown his head at a ball someone is going for. especially on the grounds of blood.

second skipp ploughed through diaz with a leg breaker and not even a free. now you tell me how Ryan Mason missed that one but is angry jota is still on the park to score

finally mason would want to focus on other stuff. sitting back in and hoping is all he offered and we stopped playing after 15mins.

And Klopp might want to focus on something else other than his pathetic ramblings about the referee.

Out of curiosity why is it bugging you so much. You didn't even play us yesterday. And don't listen to him if he winds you up so much. Funnily enough I would have thought you would be use to his ramblings considering what fergie use to do.

Klopp will be charged, lying about a conversation with the ref is about as snide as you can get.
