Emerson has really shown his worth this season. One on one he's an excellent defender. Agree RCB is his best position when playing 3 at the back.
Also, well done to Mason. Not only does he carry himself very impressively but in both of his short term stints in charge he has made immediate tactical tweaks which have improved the team. A real shame he wasn't put in charge when Conte was sacked.

I wrote Emerson off as a RWB yes because he isn’t good enough there. Saw him enough times to make that decision. Doesn’t offer anything in attack. That being said, defensively he looks better so we need to avoid him playing as a RWB
I don’t particularly rate Emerson, but credit where it’s due, he’s had a much better second half of the season (when he’s not been injured).
He’s a better defender than Porro and Porro is better going forward, so yesterday’s formation seems a good way to go.
Emerson behind Porro has to be the way forward. Let Porro develop the strength in his game (attacking) and relieve him of his poor defensive abilities.
Credit to Emerson for making himself worthy of at least being a squad option after most of us couldn't wait to have him replaced. Whether he is good enough to remain a first team starter into next season is another matter but current form dictates that he should be.
