It's unfortunate for Kane that he won't be tying the record number of GBs this season thanks to the phenomenon that is Haaland. Doubt he'll win another either.

The fact that so many people hate him is a sign of respect in these times.

phenomenal achievement for the slowest player in history. Deservedly a prem legend.

Really depends which Kane (pen) turns up. You either get the Kane (pen) who smashed it in early in the 2nd half v France or you get the Kane (pen) who smashed it over v France late on in the 2nd half.

He is one of those players who is capable of producing an absolute moment of magic, from the penalty spot, but also his passion means that sometimes he loses his head, from the penalty spot.

Overall though a really exciting player to watch take penalties

His pen was brilliant yesterday. That's how talented Kane is that he can score a penalty with his head.

If you don't remember greaves lighting up the PL do you even watch soccer ball?

If you were to put together a top EPL striker list most of those names wouldn’t be in it. Kane would be. Nuff said.

Only 3 of those guys are post-80's. I thought it was easier for strikers to score nowadays Sandy?

Football didn`t start in 1992 though did it, or am I missing something? So this article is about the best English goalscorers of all time in England.

Now that opposition cannot argue about the number of goals Kane scored, they try a different angle to make false claims like he is not the fastest to whatever goals tally...

They would give their right arm and lot of money to have Kane in their midst, whether this is Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea or even the best team in the land currently ie City.

One season wonder. We need to ask Admin a list of all those trolls on here that labelled him that, years ago - just for a laugh

Yesterday, showed how Haaland is only as effective as those around him. He needs the team to make the goals for him. Yesterday City were below par and Haaland missed 5-6 sitters, for someone the media claim to be "deadly"

Give over! Kane is the ultimate front man. Can play just off the striker, as a striker, and has goals and assists in bucket loads.

Unique in that sense.

Spurtle, should be mate with the balloon for a football, billiard ball football pitches, not very good defenders, and goalies making howlers. All it proves though is how much better strikers were back in the day.

Haaland is basically a tap in merchant. Looks awkward, and is awkward. How many would he be getting at say Southampton?

How many would Kane? For a tap in merchant he’s fairly whipped Harry’s arrse this season. Plus he faster than a traffic cone. Unlike Harry.

I couldn't disagree with you more but ok. Enhancements in training, medicine, fitness will help players more today than back then. The standard has got better, it's why you don't see so many of these crazy scorelines like you did back then, that goes for domestic and international football. It's why it's difficult comparing modern greats to old time greats. Why not just accept they are great in their own eras and leave it at that?

In truth it didn’t really start until around 95/96 when Wenger came into the prem. before then it was just amateurish kick and rush ball.

Also Rush, English?

And you need to accept that football didn't start with the Prem, and all the best goalscorers are pre Prem. That may change over time. But as of today, 20 strikers have still scored more than Harry in the top division. So never sure why everyone waffles on about having to beat Shearer's record, he does not hold the record.

No, he won’t want to. He’ll move onto a huge club like madrid, and win the CL.
