Exactly. I have been critical of Rashford at times but I’m under no illusion that he’s our best chance of a goal.

Our plan is to sit back and hit on the break. Which has suited Marcus and he has the figures to show how good he has been with that style.

Was listening to RVN the other day and he basically said players were told to just look for him. He singled out Scholsey as the reason for his goals. Said he would find him no matter what.

Genuinely don't think we'd have been any worse off had Pellestri been given a run of games. Even when he's frozen out and gets the off cameo he makes things happen. He actually got an assist before Antony did too despite hardly ever playing for us which says it all.
Antony is no Mason Greenwood that's for sure. We haven't upgraded with him.

How is a forward supposed to function in our team due to our playing style?
Our plan is to sit back and hit on the break. Which has suited Marcus and he has the figures to show how good he has been with that style.
Apart from that we hardly put anything in to the box. We keep ball in the opposition's half and pass it back and forth till we lose it and put mf can't cope with the break.
Antony cuts in and shoots, Marcus runs and runs and runs and shoots or losses it.
Bruno can play a brilliant ball from our half but shoots at every opportunity when in the opposition's.
Even case and Fred and Sabitzer will take a shot.
No one passes to a striker. Martial makes runs initially then disappears. Weggy is always trying to make a rum but nada.
So it's a case of are our strikers chit so no one passes, or no one passes so our strikers are chit?
Even Greenwood had to make his own goals. Where's kane like for Son and vice versa, all of city look for haaland etc

We need the others to step up. This isn't Rashford FC. There's no excuse for the others. They are international footballers playing at one of the biggest clubs in the world.
Nowhere to hide. They have to start delivering.

I agree however this is not me having a go at Rashford but goals are his main offering. Antony and Bruno offer other things. Weghorst isn’t good enough.

Antony doesn't offer anything really. He's been a huge disappointment so far and a big reason we don't score a lot of goals as he doesn't make anything happen for the striker. His final ball has been an absolute joke all season.
We need him to start living up to the hype and quickly though. If he flops then this could end by being ETH's Maguire. You can't spend that amount of money on one player and get nothing back.

I wouldn’t say he offers nothing but he does need to improve his play in the final 3rd. If he still hasn’t improved this time next year it will be a big worry.

Being incredibly kind there to him. He's an 84m winger. He's meant to score and make goals and get us off our seats.
He needs to massively improve.

Was listening to RVN the other day and he basically said players were told to just look for him. He singled out Scholsey as the reason for his goals. Said he would find him no matter what.
Our current lot would have meant RVN failing here
