Depends how we do in the next 3 matches. If he wins them all and we play well, I'll feel more satisfied about employing him than if we don't. Ultimately, I wouldn't have faith in him to deliver us success and challenge for major trophies so if Nagelsmann is available we have to look to get him in.
Would be a joke of an appointment tbh.
He might well end up being a decent manager in the future but it will be a very risky appointment. If Spurs get the next manager wrong we will be sliding further in to mid
Seeing how he has put his name in the hat, if I was Levy, I would hire someone else for now and then put him under serious consideration next time round.
I think we do risk losing him if he keeps on getting overlooked.

If Nagelsmann comes in and would have him as a number 2 it could work out great for him and for us. He is still young and being under another young progressive manager could set him up to be our manager in the future. Of course we cannot force him on any manager and he would want to.

Nags has shown over career his is prepared to give youth a chance. With Ryan's knowledge of the youth team set up as well as first team, Nags or anyone else would be foolish to ignore him.
Nah would like to see him leave the club and prove himself elsewhere first. The clamour in certain circles for Mason to get the job has a touch of the Solskjaer about it. My top choices would be Nagelsmann, Gallardo, Amorim or Svensson. Anything else would be underwhelming.
Wouldn't mind, could call him King Ryan then 🤣
He is definitely growing on me. Looks like he knows what he is doing. So would have no problem with him. As long as he prioritises buying new CBs and a quality midfielder
It could be beneficial for Mason to be assistant under Nagelsmann learning from another manager with a different approach and absorbing more information. To be honest though, what's going to make a great manager is what's already there in one's personality. You've either got it or you haven't i.e. someone with a lot of self confidence/arrogance, intelligence, a real winning mentality, and good at handling people and situations...things like that. Whether Mason has that I don't know.
All I know is if you are looking at it objectively, if it's a choice between Mason and Nagelsmann there is no debate, Nagelsmann is the better manager right now, and I would sooner regret missing out on Nagelsmann to have Mason put in there than Nagelsmann in and losing Mason.

The dreaded Sandy seal of approval.
I really don't get the hype about Naglesman. To me new is just the new AVB.
It really isn't any form of worry Spurs would get a good manager etc. Klopp has schooled him each time he's met him.
You'd be much better off going for someone else.
Rather Mason than some of the names
Alonso, Enrique, kompany
Even slot is a big big risk
At least Mason loves the club and wants to play some football
We would be turning into Lampard and Chelsea. Might start well but doesn't have credentials to manage the squad required.
Knee jerk appointment like Alonso and Kompany. Big fat no for me for Mason.
Let him go and manage a another club for at least a year or two. Learn to deal with management and players that don't know you or have sympathy for you.
Every appointment will be a risk, that`s just the way it is and whoever comes in will be hamstrung from the off having Levy overseeing everything.
I would be happy with Nagelsman and Mason as number 2, though he may want to bring his own assistants.
Let’s put it this way, if Mason was at any other club, and had two caretaker positions at that club, and had the results he had had, would you be jumping up and down to get him over to Spurs?
I doubt it. Literally the only thing going for him is he is “Spurs”. This cannot be the barometer with which he appoint managers.

No thanks. Let him learn his trade and manage a club in the lower leagues or work under Nagelsmaan. Hire Mason, we might as well accept mid table mediocrity for the next few years. He isn’t ready and is interim manager for a reason. If we don’t appoint Nagelsmaan, will be extremely disappointed now.
