Do You Think Levy Is Struggling…..

I would imagine top managers have reservations about working for ENIC. As mush as they wanna be well paid, they wanna win and sadly Enic has created a mentality at the club where that's not the priority.

Levy has created a reputation for himself thats ultimately gonna hurt the club from a sporting sense despite the balance sheet strength

Not sure about a “Top” manager Grand! But hopefully someone decent with a plan and a more attacking style
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

You know the media they will make a case for anybody that has ever managed as being a top manager.

And how’s that worked out for spurs over the last two managers?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I am not defending it far from it but thats exactly what has happened to football in this country, its about money money money. Average players are branded "top class or world class" when they are bang average and the same happens with managers. Even big sam is back in work ffs. Roy Hodgson out of retirement. Frank Lampard managing a prem club all be it temporary.

The whole thing is a fecking joke and sadly our club with Levy's decisions are the biggest joke of the prem.

Agree with all of this

Deffo Levy has burnt a few bridges after the way he treated JM and then Conte. He is given away a whiff of a desperate chairman who is a control freak and has supersensitive OCD when it comes to money and spending on players.
Who would work for that kind of chairman? Maybe someone like Ryan Mason who is still progressing in his career but not those seasoned managers.

Mind you, we don't know if privately Levy is not grovelling like a dog on a hot summer's day with his tongue out begging Poch/Nagelsmann on his knees right now?

Who knows? A stern public face but a totally humiliated and subservient private one

Everybody has known Levy's way for years so going by your thinking Mourinho would never have taken the job. And for sure Conte would not have taken the job after Mourinho.

As I said if the money is good enough 99% of managers will take the job. The likes of Pep can afford to be choosy but the majority just see the £ signs

I think not.

Money is important but also the belief that as a manager you will improve the side and maybe even win a trophy, and I believe both JM and Conte believed so. Why would they risk denting their good records if they didn't think they could win something with Spurs? No amount of money can repair a good record or time wasted?

I think they both joined on assurances by Levy that they will be backed in the market and both thought genuinely thought they had a chance of winning something with us.

Yet, once they joined, all transfers were passed by Levy's final say so and probably Levy embargoed a few. Most likely due to money demanded.

Mourinho & Conte were out of work and Levy made them offers too good to turn down, Spurs would have been way down their list of prospective employers otherwise, given they know the way Levy operates, know about the broken promises and the restrictions they would be asked to work under.

Levy & his way of running a football club will be a stumbling block for a lot of top class managers but the salary on offer does a lot of talking.

Was just thinking is there a manager we've had or missed out on in the past that you wanted to do well/or wanted.

For me I've always wanted all of them to do well .....even Graham .... he won the cup so success of sorts.

There's no one in particular I wanted to be manager but for me it was Glenn Hoddle that was the biggest disappointment. He was my hero growing up as a boy. Wanted him to be a success and win everything but sadly it was not to be.

If they’re making that much money get them to buy Levy out

They could make him an offer he couldn’t refuse.

Mail are saying

Tottenham want to complete a a thorough process while Naglesmann is waiting to see who is appointed as next sporting director and wants assurances over the level of control he will would hold over the club’s approach to recruitment before deciding whether to seriously consider any formal approach.

The emergence of Johannes Spors as contender for the vacant sporting directorship is particular intriguing because the administrator has a prior relationship with Naglesmann from the Bundesliga circuit. Brentford technical director Lee Dykes is also among the candidates.

Spurs are insisting there is not a No 1 candidate, but it is clear Naglesmann is major contender for the job.

The truth is more like they are the kind of guys that like to work,.....not so much Levy's offers.

If that incompetent f h a ck doesn’t announce a new manager and did the day after the season ends, then I’m afraid it is the usual chaos and expect another nuno situation

There is so much work that needs to be done this summer, if we go into June still chasing managers , then once and for all you will know how little Enic value the football side of things
