We will hire a DoF before a manager, the club is gonna take plenty of time to ensure we hire the right manager… Ah yeah they did that’s last time and hired Nuno.

Yep, the new manager should be appointed as soon as possible, or at least have an agreement in place to take over on 1st June, so he can begin assessing the squad as soon as possible and sort out what needs to be done.

But no, it will be the usual last minute Levy clusterfack or incompetence making a dog`s dinner of everything.

They have spent the last 20 odd years not knowing what they are doing. Why would that change now ?
We all know Levy will continue to get all the important decisions wrong and we will start next season in as much mess as we Finnish this season.
One obvious problem is nobody want to work anywhere near Levy. The guy is toxic and everyone in the footballworld knows it.

I bet nobody has even been interviewed yet, Levy won't want to pay out any unnecessary wages by hiring somebody before he absolutely has to. This is what we are up against as a club, we have a chairman / owner that values the balance sheet over everything else and who makes ridiculous decision after ridiculous decision.

I think Naglesmann might have had an initial interview Billy, but he wants certain assurances and to see who the new DOF will be.

Or at least that’s my understanding!

Genuine question, why do we think the announcement of Poch to Chelsea is taking so long?

Not really sure but the papers are talking as if he’s already there, saying which players he want’s etc.

For us and Chelsea, if new managers were brought in sooner and results didn't approve the fans would have wanted them out before the season ended, safer to wait till after the season.
