I feel Spurs will get that 7th spot due to Kane. Reminds me of when Mourinho scraped 7th on the final day. Brighton could still also not get at least 6th but if they don’t with the quality they have it would be an underachievement even though they have tough games. Spurs probably get top 4 next season in front of Arsenal as that is usually what happens recent times.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think Arsenal won’t be as competitive next season. They will be a bit deflated after this season. Plus Saliba entering the last year of his deal, tying him down will be a big plus for them.
Chelsea will improve. Liverpool will improve especially if they sort out their midfield. United will continue to incrementally get better under Ten Hagg. Brighton should continue growing, I feel Ferguson will be massive for them next season - especially if he stays injury free.
Who knows with Spurs, a lot will hinder on the managerial appointment and the players/fans getting behind it.

Bottom line is Spurs will win same as Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea this season. So no big deal.

But those clubs have won trophies in the last 15 years, Spurs aren't even a known as a cup side anymore

Past 15 years, past 30 years, past 50 years, past 100 years. Does it matter what was won in the past. Yes good for chatting about a club`s history, of which I am very fond of doing, but is completely irrelevant to the hear and now.

Chelsea are in a false position…..one good manager and striker away from threatening top 4 again …..the owners also spend ridiculous amounts of money on transfers and wages so their prices are aligned
Ours are the highest for no justifiable reason other than greed and cos they are getting away with it ….. season ticket holders have a right to be angry at what they pay compared to what they see

They are not in a false position, they have had two decent managers this season Tuchel and Potter, and neither could get a tune out of their players.

Potter was the wrong fit for a demand success immediately club

Both clubs got things the wrong way round ,…, they need a conte / Jose with that squad (plus a striker)
We need a potter / Poch type manager (I’m not saying I wanted Poch)
For the record I think Poch will struggle for the same reason potter did

What are spurs going to be winning this season?
We are where we should be based on performances but not where we were supposed to be. The performances have been rubbish all season and Conte was rather fortunate he got the results he did in the early part. Even if we'd stuck with Conte I firmly believe we wouldn't be getting top 4. All of the signings have not worked out the way we'd have hoped, apart from maybe Forster. The worst thing is how we've managed to ship 20 more goals on last season.
A truly crap season and it's absolutely no consolation to say this is where Spurs are historically.
The only good news is that there is 2 weeks and 2 games to go - in a fortnight we can have a couple of months off Spurs whilst Levy finally gets round to appointing a manager and we get through a Kane saga and chase the next Zaniolo, Dybala etc.
My main gripe with the club and Levy is that under Poch we we’re challenging for major honours . Poch no delt met with Levy and told him what was needed , but because he’s a cheap Priiick decided to fire him.
We then persisted with two has beens who can only win major honours with unlimited funds .
Levy doesn’t back them and fires them when he’s exposed to the press by Conte.
He has allowed England's best strikers contract to nearly burn out rather than selling him for a ludicrous amount that could have been invested in the team and maybe pushed us on to silverware, he hires a Sporting director whom he knew was in with fat Tony and likely to be banned.
We are now stuck with no DOF and Levy’s acting manager as the go to man when no one is left .
It’s an utter shambles of a club and we then wonder why the team is a state, it all falls back to one man.

So many poor decisions since that moment Levy didn't back Poch that have lead us to where we are now. He should have stuck with Poch and thought about getting a new DOF then to help us with our recruitment, because it was lousy in the last couple of years Poch was there - Aurier, Nkoudou, Janssen, Sissoko, Sanchez, GLC, Ndombele.
How we make decisions is a joke. Apparently according to ITK's it was Kenny Dalgliesh who recommended Poch to Joe Lewis whilst on his yatch. Kenny was there with Craig Johnstone and his wife Vivienne Lewis.

Joe Lewis is a liverpool fan
"They have ever been a great league side, even under Sir Billy Nicholson, yes the won the league, and had two or three top three places, but most seasons they finished 6th/7th/8th or lower." - that point I agree with Sandy
Absolute farticle, so because we've had a succession of useless owners in our history, we should accept we will be losers forever rather than demanding better.
This club did once win the double, the first british winners of a European trophy. Take away the last 30 years of useless ownership and our major trophy count would be up around 30 rather than 17.

That's not what the article says Billy. Yes Spurs have had their moments, but they have never really challenged much for the league throughout their long history.
I was there when they won the Double, I was there when they were relegated. I applauded the side of both times. It's what supporters do. You take the rough with the smooth.
I can't be bothered to read all the comments so sorry if this has been said already but I can't understand why you're saying it's fine to finish 6th, 7th, 8th because we have a history as a cup side. We haven't won even a League Cup for 15 years.

Still think we are finishing 6th, Sandy?

So many poor decisions since that moment Levy didn't back Poch that have lead us to where we are now. He should have stuck with Poch and thought about getting a new DOF then to help us with our recruitment, because it was lousy in the last couple of years Poch was there - Aurier, Nkoudou, Janssen, Sissoko, Sanchez, GLC, Ndombele.

I honestly reckon Poch aid to Levy sell Kane and reinvest , Levy then Shat the bed and fired him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't reckon he would have said to sell Kane, don't think any manager would, but he did want an overhaul and it was easier to just look at the form we were in and get rid of Poch.

How we make decisions is a joke. Apparently according to ITK's it was Kenny Dalgliesh who recommended Poch to Joe Lewis whilst on his yatch. Kenny was there with Craig Johnstone and his wife Vivienne Lewis.

You applauded Spurs when they were relegated? Like clapped them off the pitch for finishing in the relegation places? Are you telling porkies Sandy?

Still think we are finishing 6th, Sandy?

And Eriksen and Dembele have been replaced with PEH and Skipp

From the poster that defended PEH and Skipp to me a couple of months ago and said "they always try hard"
