Considering what these guys seem to want Pochettino is the safe choice. He doesn't strike me as a Chelsea manager per say (and that's nothing to do with the Spurs connection), but he's got enough credibility to pass for me - reminds me of Sarri in that way who I personally liked. The AVB's/Potter's, i.e. total punts, we can't do.

The squad looks decent for him assuming he'd try to replicate his Spurs 4231/5221. Needs better depth in the full backs & a proper striker but the defence & midfield look alright for a starting point & there's enough wingers for him to take his pick. Should be good

Also helpful that tactically he's quite similar to Tuchel (when he was at Dortmund at least) but isn't a much of a hothead, so Boehly can rest his little weak soul that Poch won't be mean to him

We just need to give any manager a chance. If we get off to a dodgy start the fans need to hold back on there calls for a sacking. Poch has said himself it could take 2 years before we challenge. He will be backed with sign8ngs if he needs them unlike at previous positions. Would I have chosen him? Not necessarily but I'll support him as he will be the main man.
