Another first choice CB is required your team looked a shadow of itself without Saliba, you need another CB of his level IMO.
a CF is a must, you only have 2 you need three minimum.

I wouldn't call it first choice, but very quality replacement is definitely needed. However, it will be hard to find such a quality player that is not guaranteed he will start and he would be happy being a replacement

Don't think I can think of a single team in the league that has 3 centre forwards..?
Also I think very knee jerk to say that we need to upgrade on White. Been fantastic for the majority of the season for us

2 striker of a level that is good enough to be a starter and one back up for emergencies You have Jesus as one of the two and Nketiah as emergency striker. Nketiah isnt good enough to be 2nd choice striker IMO.
White is good enough as RB, he can be emergency back up at CB. But You still need another CB ov the level of Saliba or Gabriel. the performances since Saliba has been out is there for all to see.
City have four first choice level CBs IMO. Dias, Stones, Laporte & Akanji.
You need depth, unrealistic to suggest you have 4 of the level City have but you need at least 3 similar to their level if you move forward and challenge them next year and also compete in Europe.
Newcastle : Wilson, Isak, Joelinton (Back up)
Liverpool : Jota, Firminho, Nunez
Brighton : Ferguson, Welbeck, Undav
there are plenty of teams in the EPL that have three or more strikers.
You only really have Jesus and Nketiah

martinelli aint a striker, thats just putting square pegs into round holes same with Troassard.
If you really wanna challenge next year in EPL and champ league you need to have recognised strikers not guys that can maybe try and fulfil that position.
City will be even stronger next year maybe its unrealistic for you to challenge next year but if you wanna do so I think you need at least another top quality defender and cf

i gave my reasons tbf. I also did concede that I forgot about Balogun who has had a decent season in france.
Joelinton and Jota were signed to play cf for their respective teams.
Joelinton is a midfielder who played support striker and wide for Hoffenheim, and when forced into a main striker role in the PL was absolute shiiiite.
I would take Martinelli over him as striker all day every day.
Jota, like Marti and Tossy, can do the role. They signed Nunez and Gakpo to play CF.

Jota has played cf for liverpool more than any other position.
And obviously wasn't good enough so they signed 2 other players 😂
But the point is Martinelli was signed as a striker, and like Jota, Trossard can play there (hatty at Anfield this season proves that...). You can't chuck midfielder Joelinton and support attacker Jota in but exclude Trossy and Marti.
Our best attacking play this season was a front 3 of Trossy, Saka and Martinelli.

he is still a recognised striker whether you think he is good enough or not is another question.
look argue all you want Jesus and Nketiah have been your only two strikers this season Nketiah isnt and wasnt good enough as was shown and lack of another striker and another CB of sufficient quality and being natural has cost you this season imo.
You might think differently but thats how I see it. If you had another striker similar to Jesus level and another cb similar to Gabriel or Saliba level I dont thikn you would have struggled down the stretch. two key positions you dont wanna find yourself short in quality when it comes to the business end of the season.
just my tuppence worth
Arsenal had a very good period without Jesus.
I don't think he's a premier league winning starting CF. Pep was right he's fantastic back up because you can play him wide as well.
If Arsenal are to win the league he's going to need to find himself in that position again.

How was it shown Nketiah wasn't good enough? We carried on scoring.
Even when Jesus AND Nketiah were out we scored 15 in 5 games, with Martinelli and Trossard swapping in the striker role.
How many times have Jota and Joelinton played up front this season? 3 times between them?
I have no issue with Jota bring named as Lpools 3rd option behind Gakpo and Nunez, but to dismiss Trossard and Martinelli while doing so doesn't hold up.
And Joelinton would be 5th or 6th choice for Howe, who has used others in that role when Isak and Wilson weren't available.
Plus we haven't had much trouble scoring 'down the stretch'. We haven't had much trouble scoring all season despite Jesus missing 14 odd games. Outscored Liverpool and Newcastle quite comfortably.
Jesus is very good when the ball is played to his feet and when he is executing the high press. However, he doesn't have the positional discipline (wants to be involved all the time) nor the physical build to hold up an inaccurate aerial ball.
The kind of ball that Haaland beat Holding with to slip in De Bruyne.
