I’m not really a fan of either of our right backs. But I’d probably rather keep AWB than Dalot. Dalot is technically better in build up but I do think AWB is a really useful weapon in shutting down opposition left wingers, and offers more in the attacking third anyway.
After a poor start and looking like ETH didn’t fancy him, has he now made the position his own?

No. He’s still very limited in attack, but he’s impressed me with his defending, we’d still be more effective with a more balanced RB.
AWB has improved alot. He's a great asset against teams who have strong wingers (Mitoma for example).
Not only that, his footwork (not crossing) has come on a lot and he is driving forward a lot more with the ball now. Deserves another season. Especially since we have more pressing needs (striker and GK).

Pretty good 1 v 1 but u won't ever win a big trophy with a rb like him. I'm not saying replacing him should be a priority though as united have several other areas that need more drastic attention.

Perhaps not, but we certainly won't if we don't have a better CF and CM.

I agree. He isn't a priority to replace but is a very traditional oldskool rb. Doesn't offer anything offensively though unfortunately.

Yeah, we should sign a better, more balanced RB, but for less than £20m, to go with the better,.more balanced, GK also available for less than £20m.
This should then allow us to sign a better, better balanced CM for around £20m.
