He hasn't won it yet and as I said on the live thread, Sevilla have ex-Spurs Lamela so he is going to win something sooner or later.

Looking at the stats it looked like a total anti football defensive job, but Jose always seems to get the job done.

Seville will win the final imo

Aye, trademark Mourinho win … 23 shots for Leverkusen to Roma’s ONE, but they grind out the 0-0 they needed.

I knew there would an article about him after this. My money was on Sandy. I will never be convinced. Winning the odd trophy just does not cut it if you have to watch your team camp in on the edge of their own box game after game. That’s not football. Jose is one of the worst things that’s ever happened to the game.

Nothing to do with his time with us. I’ve never, ever liked him or his football. Feck trophies if you have to do it like this.

Jose team did what they needed to do, doesnt matter if you win 1-0 or 7-0 a win is a win. Would love it if he wont the Europa league.

Totally agree with you I can’t stand him and his methods……… just astonishing how much success he’s had from it. But also think there’s got to be some weird perverse force that he has too

If you can’t see how cursed and f** we are as a club tonight then nothing will. Both Gil and Lamela combine tonight and Sevilla are in a final. Literally every player that leaves Spurs goes onto win trophies. It’s honestly ridiculous.

We get what we deserve. Some fans looked down on Europa league and Conference league yet we moan when others win them.

If West Ham will conference league some fans will lie to themselves that it doesn't matter.

In hindsight we should have let him see out the Cup final. I don't suppose we would have won anyway, the way we were playing. Then again if we'd won that, would fans have been happy to stick with him for another season knowing that form in the league at that time was only going south and most of us were all getting sick of his football?

Only reason why Levy sacked him was because he was reluctant to pay Jose the money if we actually won it. So he appointed Mason’s mates to save money. Simple the worst football chairman in the league. Couldn’t give a s** about his profits and commercial stuff. Daniel Levy is simply one of the worst football chairmans in existence.

Mourinho is a winner, so is Conte, they know how to get the job done if they have the tools.

Levy on the other hand is a pathetic loser who has no business being in charge of Spurs.

No matter who you employ, you will never develop a winning mentality if the clowns overseeing it all have a losers mentality.

You’ve nailed it here Jose adapts and plays the bus parking brand when the tools he has necessitate that style.Nobody is going to deny when he was funded at Chelsea he didn’t build teams capable of attacking flair.
He’s an easy target now he’s unfunded.
But hi everyone shouts I’d like to see pep do it at this club or that club …….we’ll hasn’t Mourinho more than answered those style of questions!

Loathe him. Definitely loathe him.

I think he's grate. The football isn't but you can't deny it gets results.

I like him, and he is making a complete mug of those Spurs fans that say he was washed up. Meanwhile the same fans are drooling over Mr average Pochettino.

Could Guardiola get Roma to successive European finals? I doubt it, he is a chequebook manager.

Goes to show how bad the situation is at spurs when so many managers succeed elsewhere. The set up at spurs does not support success on the pitch, yet we are now 54 days on from our last managerial sacking and still no sign of sorting it out

What is it now, something like 65 trophies won elsewhere by managers levy has fired?

Stats like that simply do not lie.
