So, our first choice keeper and back 4 are OK (still with reservations about the left side of defence), but we don’t have ANY decent back up. Fair?

Too simplistic. Some of these back ups would now and again drop into the team by themselves or maybe one other and get decent support. 5 or 6 and all their limitations are exposed.

100%. Drop Kobayashi in from time to time with ccv on one side and Taylor on the other and he might be OK.
Play him with starfelt and Bernabei and Bain in goal and its not going to work.

Kobayashi looks perhaps the worst of the lot

Neat and tidy and can't defend for toffee

Annoying as it is, still all after we won the league.

Kyogo should never have been brought on though.

United had a bit of a poor night today too. Starting to look a bit bleak this season - we're in genuine danger of getting relegated. Still, confident we can pull through and manage the 8-goal swing required in the final game of the season.

All about opinions. Personally don’t think any of our back up keepers/defenders look even half decent, regardless who they’re playing alongside. Any one of them in a CL game is a major weakness IMO, altho arguably that could be said of all but CCV and AJ, in fairness. Been a phenomenal season, but we’ve a way to go yet as a squad. Ange will know that though.

By my quick maths, the predictor table going into the last game is;

Really close.

I don't believe that we'll ever have a squad where the subs are as good as the starters.
You don't come to Scotland to sit on the bench if you're a decent player.
Guys like GG want to play and that's just how it is. We just need to try to keep decent reserves for a couple of key positions. Best we can do.

Didn't see the game tonight but I'm guessing it was a case of giving some of our departing players an emotional send-off in their final home game, which backfired when they were all piish and reinforced why they're being let go?

I get that, Mags but 38 league + 5x SC, 4x LC, 6x CL (soon to be 10) plus whatever qualifiers in future plus injuries, our aim has to be even more strength in depth.

That said these post league win games are like pre-season friendlies in the scale of things.

Rangers signings capturing the media just now but ours are every bit as important and of interest. Historically, we've banked much of the CL money for lean years.This the first window back under an element of Lawwell oversight. Will our net spend exceed Rangers?
