Spurs wouldn't give him the time to implement his way of working. They would sack him after 2 months

I would be okay with this playing out.

Wonder how Celtic would’ve done in the champions league if your two first choice centre backs were injured, never mind 4.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
probably worse than Rangers did ...but i like your comfort thinking

Mate.

You know the score by now.

"This upsets me greatly"

Not worried. He's one of a number of candidates. Far from being the preferred candidate. Usual suspects........Rogers, Potter, Enrique, .....

Confident Ange will be our manager next season........

Ex-Spurs midfielder and radio motormouth Jamie O'Hara recently urged his former club to take a chance on Postecoglou, insisting it would be too big a job to turn down.

He told Grosvenor Sport: “Tottenham should go after Postecoglou in the summer.

“He’s brilliant and Tottenham are a huge football club. If he got offered the job, there is no way he is turning it down – how could you?

“If he had the opportunity to manage Tottenham in the Europa League or Europa Conference League, or manage Celtic in the Champions League, you’re taking Tottenham.

"Celtic will get pumped in the Champions League and will be out in the group stages, then they’ll walk the league.

“Celtic are a huge football club but for Postecoglou’s career, there is no way in a million years he would turn Spurs down.”
----------------------------------------------------------------
Should I know who in fvck Jamie O'Hara is?

And you'd imagine a Spurs fan would be aware that club is not currently in the European places with one game remaining.

Agree on both thoughts

If I was Ange there's no way I would leave a club like Celtic, where I can collect trophies for fun and compete in the CL next season and likely the season after, to go to a shambles of a club like Spurs whose best shot at even coming close to winning anything is to creep into the conference league. That said, modern football doesn't really work that way and I wouldn't be surprised if he did move if offered it.

I guess he came into somewhat of a shambles at Celtic

To be fair, success can be measured in many different ways: it can be measured in metal and money or it can be measured in friendships and legacies.

I was messaging some of the guys during the game and because we were all watching on a stream we wer at different parts. I thought I was ahead of them so when one typed "oh ffs" I replied "what part are you up to?" Then I seen the Bain thing

The error was almost comical. Paddy Bonnar did that a few times but at least he was a tremendous keeper

What are the UEFA rules about 'home grown players' that someone was on about yesterday that seems to have been instrumental in him getting a new contract????

I believe you need 8 in a 25 man squad.

4 from the club, 4 from the association.

It's why City have Scott Carson as the 3rd keeper, most sides keep a schiter 3rd choice just because they are homegrown.
