I have never heard so many negative comments on here from so called Spurs supporters, it would also be my guess that most I not all of you have either A) Never been in the new stadium B) Never had a season ticket for Spurs.🤔
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't know why I'm biting, but surely both those things would give people MORE justification to complain, not less, considering how expensive they would be and how little reward Spurs fans are getting for their huge investment nowadays
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Genius forgets we don’t all get the concession like him and Sandy
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Concessions earned for supporting the club since 1958 and spending a fair amount of money in that time too. I have also been lucky to play in numerous Spurs golf days with players like Hoddle, Lineker, Anderton, Perryman, and the best of the lot in 2018…….Harry Kane.
These days alone have cost me and my friends several thousands of pounds.
I would also remind you that I have only been getting concessions on tickets over the last decade or so, before that I was paying what nearly every other supporter paid for over 50 years🤔
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Makes sense now why you are so pro Levy and are constantly defending them 👍
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Basically part of the establishment
----------------------------------------------------------------------
100% and proof right there. Golf days with the players and there’s our reason why Genius Greaves is constantly on here criticising others who have every right blasting the chairman and board
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Don, I have met Genius, and he played a decent level of football, and is a really decent fella. And he likes his golf. Having golf days with the players should be commended.
Are you saying you would turn down playing golf with Spurs players if you had the chance. Of course you wouldn't.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I’m sure he’s a decent guy. Not questioning his character. I’m just putting 2 and 2 together why he’s consistently defending the board and Levy plus criticising others for the way we feel and seems like he’s part the establishment with connections so makes sense
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No Don, it's called having a different opinion to you and others. Its supposed to be a debating forum with different views.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Criticising others on here for having valid reasons for hating the Spurs establishment isn’t an opinion mate

LOL so Genius is pro Levy because he gets concessions.
Honestly Don your not overly bright are you.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok WUM. Clearly he’s something to do with the club Sandy if you believe what he has said in regards to Golf days with players. If you have some sort of connection, you get perks like this. Not that hard mate 🤦♂️ no wonder he constantly defends the board
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The only thing I have to do with the club is that I am a lifelong fan.
The golf days are not perks, every Premier League club has them. They are not free, back in 2018 myself and two friends paid a £1000 to partner a Spurs legend, past and present. We were over the moon to have Harry as our 4th member of the playing group. He is a very handy golfer too. His handicap was 4 when we played together, I believe he is nearer scratch now.
These annual golf days are open to ALL and normally get advertised on the club website.
This was an event I attended in Portugal for a Spurs legends charity day.
https://centrealgarve.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/Centre-Algarve-golf-212.jpg
I also attended (but did not play) the annual Arsenal V Spurs legends in September 2019. All the players in attendance were extremely sociable and it was fantastic mixing with them. I spoke with Glen Hoddle, Micky Hazard, David Seaman, Ray Clemence, Ossie, Big Martin Chivers, Ian Wright, George Graham, Graham Roberts, Alan Smith,Bob Wilson, Frank Mclintock and Sir Trevor Brooking and I didn’t ask him why he was there as it would have been rude.
These golf days are an excellent way of supporters to mix with Ex and present stars in a relaxed and non combative environment. The entry for this was a donation of £20 to the charity, so it is within most people’s means.

It is laughable really, you are twisting the narrative to supplement your argument against the club. Some of us have experienced far darker days at THFC than this season. Such as relegation back in the 70’s and on the verge of bankruptcy under Irving Scholar before firstly Alan Sugar stabilising the club financially before selling out to ENIC over 21 years ago.
Sadly, these days people do not wish to hear anyone’s opinion if it does not tally with their own. That’s okay by me, I see nothing wrong with people having different views to me, it should normally mean healthy debate, sadly no in this case you are against any one with thoughts different to yours.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What’s to debate though? the club has gone downhill since Poch left and since we left the old stadium behind, that’s just facts.
Peculiar that you are still falling for Levy’s bullsh*t because the vast majority of fans aren’t and more importantly no decent manager is either.

None so blind and all that…
Britannica Dictionary definition of DEBATE
: a discussion between people in which they express different opinions about something
◊ A debate can be an organized event, an informal discussion between two or more people, or a general discussion that involves many people.
There are four things about debate that I have learnt over the past years, that I think are the most important points:
Stay objective. You have to put aside your personal views when you debate and compartmentalise them, because this is what allows you to remain rational. ...
Be flexible. ...
Look for the grey areas. ...
Think about compromise.
Well Levy’s been “compromising” for years.
Usually the cheapest (and worst) option.

Levy has done an incredible job in terms of making Spurs a more secure financially sound organisation and has delivered the stadium and the new training ground.
It is successive managers and players who should take some if not all the blame.
Did Levy give away a penalty in the CL Final? NO!
People are quick to judge without knowing all the facts and how major organisations like Spurs are set up.
Boards are a legal entity and even the Chairman cannot over rule any of their decisions. Paratici has been in charge of transfers and was responsible for Conte coming on board, Nuno was decided by the Club Executive and not solely on Levy’s decisions.
Having been Chairman of the Board at my golf club which is a Limited Company company, which I did for three years, I know first hand how fickle people can be when it suits their own agenda.
Golf clubs are a minefield of opinions, with over 600 members all apparently more qualified that the Board and Management, now multiply that by tens of thousands and you can get the picture.
As for Brexit, we haven’t sunk out of sight as predicted, and even though people like sizzle want to blame everything on Brexit, these are Remainers lies. Nobody thought it was going to be easy to disentangle ourselves from what is basically a corrupt monolith, whose accounts have not been signed off for the past 20 years because of mass discrepancies and internal fraud.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I have not fallen for any bullsh*t as you put it. I am just a pragmatist and believe that at some stage we will come good again.

Why does you have a season ticket make you a better supporter and can voice an opinion? For the record I don’t have a season ticket but have been to the new Tottenham stadium 7/8 times. Won’t bother stepping foot in there again or buy any merchandise until i see major change with the how this club are run. You and Sandy (coincidentally the 2 oldies on here) seem obsessed with telling us how we should be grateful with the owners. There is literally zero balance to your opinion. 100% and proof right there. Golf days with the players and there’s our reason why Genius Greaves is constantly on here criticising others who have every right blasting the chairman and board

Don, I have met Genius, and he played a decent level of football, and is a really decent fella. And he likes his golf. Having golf days with the players should be commended.
Are you saying you would turn down playing golf with Spurs players if you had the chance. Of course you wouldn't.

You have to put aside your personal views when you debate and compartmentalise them, because this is what allows you to remain rational. ...
Be flexible. ...
Look for the grey areas. ...
Think about compromise.
posted on 26/5/23
Well Levy’s been “compromising” for years.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
It is laughable really, you are twisting the narrative to supplement your argument against the club.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I have not fallen for any bullsh*t as you put it. I am just a pragmatist and believe that at some stage we will come good again.
Considering we have been in the CL more than Liverpool and United in the past 4 years we haven’t done too badly either.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yet won nothing mate. 22 years under their leadership with 1 league cup to show is abysmal. Zero success on the pitch unlike all the other Top 6 who have had some sort of sustainable success in spurts. Spurs = nothing.

It's good to have Genius and Devon around on here. If we all hated Levy it would be boring. They provide a good balance for the whole Levy/ENIC debatings.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Do they though?
They just come across as completely deluded, and I don’t like to use the word….senile, but they don’t seem to be very aware of what’s actually happening.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Coming from you sizzle, that is rich🤣
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well you’re the one who thinks Levy is and can still do a good job…… but then you thought Brexit was a good idea too and look how that turned out.
None so blind and all that…
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Levy has done an incredible job in terms of making Spurs a more secure financially sound organisation and has delivered the stadium and the new training ground.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Like l said, completely f*cking deluded.

Well Levy’s been “compromising” for years.
Usually the cheapest (and worst) option.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well when you have sunk millions of £’s of your own money into a venture, you become extremely vigilant and aware of how it is easy for a football club to get into financial difficulties.🤔
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And like Pochettino, Jose and Conte all told him, if you want success you have to invest.

You constantly defend the chairman and owners it’s mind bending

A club of our size and stature especially with the ticket prices the club charge ( most expensive in Europe) should be winning more than 1 league cup in 23 years mate. The failure on the pitch and lack of proper spending + decent recruitment is unforgivable
