Yep, I think, ultimately, that’s all we fans can do - dust ourselves down and go again. Well said👍.
So much to do with such little time. You look at that championship table and there are so many teams that can win it such a competitive league.
With ownership issues, managerial, staff and players in and out I just can’t see us flying back up. No one knows what they are doing at the top. Utter shambles. You don’t magically change that in a couple of months.
Depressing. Think I’m out now until August lads. Have a good summer all.

Completely agree Jonty, we could all see this coming. I couldn't even be bothered to drown sorrows yesterday. Orta is a gambler, it seems to me that the vision for the club was to take short cuts to success. We almost did it with Marcelo and I agree with your analysis of him and his impact on us fans. Radz without Orta is MacCartney without Lennon. Personally always prefered the Stones but that's another story. New owners who understand the culture of the club and enjoy its legacy. ASAP
Very good post and unemotional is exactly how many of us are feeling with a slow death of a thousand cuts over the last few months.
Cant see any quick movement in the sale of the club or finding a new manager. We just don't have the personnel to be so organised.
Only once, about 8pm last night, did I feel I might get emotional then within a micro second, immediately thought no chance for the following reason. This is our club but the players are generally not good enough to wear the shirt and the Execs through sheer incompetence, have snatched inglorous defeat from the jaws of Bielsa's hard won victory.
One thing we fans have seen, especially tge older ones is if you have a truly competent manager with a plan who is supported and allowed to function (Sir Don , Wilko and Marcelo) , it works.
I was much more upset when we were relegated last time. Ridsdale destroyed the club. This time bar the first season back it was a really pitiful attempt at PL success and i wasnt that bothered about us going down in the end..I didn't want a club to make up the numbers. I wanted a plan of increasing success each year.
Allardyce was finished the day he left West Brom. It was a really strange appointment by the club.
Without doubt there will be some huge clubs with massive fan bases in the Championship next year, and three clubs that have stadiums with capacity of below 18,000. Ridiculous

Ridiculous? Why?
Unemotional? Well, I'm fuqqing pi$$ed off. Two seasons of cataclysmic incompetence at all levels!
At least Fathead Radrizzani has just lost 250 million squid - but the little satisfaction this offers is limited by the fact that he'll still profit nicely from his mighty incompetence. That really turns my guts. He's just a fool and a coward.
It's a relief to have been relegated because that's what we deserved. It will precipitate much needed change. That's about the only positive I can think of at this point.
Interesting comment by the Rev Wilko comparing and categorising Revie, Wilkinson and Bielsa as similar.
Nothing could be further from the truth in my opinion.
Revie and Wilkinson built their teams on strong, formidable defences….Bielsa imo was negligent as regards defence.
His tactical ideas compromised the defence and imo the source of relegation…even finishing 9th in the first season back I questioned whether the defence was good enough to sustain a premiership place.
Bielsa’s English language wasn’t very good, he couldn’t spell ‘defence’ and sometimes he confused football with basketball….exciting when we won but increasingly worrying when the ‘slam dunks’ went into our net.
So the goals conceded was never addressed and the slide into mediocrity was well underway…I don’t think Revie or Wilkinson would have allowed this to happen over a period of time, Bielsa let weeks and months go by and didn’t show any inclination to address the defensive problems, more interested in questionable tactics dare I say….emphasis on tactics without the ball, not enough imo on Leeds using the ball.
Bielsa has been described on this forum as ‘God, the Messiah, a genius’ …to me he was just a football coach, his legacy tarnished by not recognising the importance of strong defence…the success of a team surely has to be built on the semblance of a decent defence and an attack capable of scoring goals.
👏

Both Revie and Wilkinson didn't just take us up as champions, they made us first tier champions and progressed into Europe. Bielsa was a great coach but never as good as those two.
Maybe the 24&halfers will take over now 😂, still in the Premier league on 606... After today 606 will shuffle the pack 😂
NJS - All I said was they were allowed to run the show to their own strategies, where did I mention Styles?
Not sure you can actually compare bearing in mind up until the eighties, you could do a Notts. Forest, as it was a more level playing field. Nowadays top 6 is a closed shop almost, due to Billionaire ownership.
Exactly Wilko,
Can’t believe some Leeds fans still having a go at Bielsa ffs.
Leeds with Bielsa in PL full season - 59 points
Leeds without Bielsa in PL full season - 31 points
Give your heads a wobble ffs
Also had Most Away Wins in a season for a newly promoted team..
Bielsa also had 12 clean sheets for the team that can’t defend….. But Englishman Fat Sam known for his defending did well didn’t he?
Under Bielsa last season

Forget first season played in empty stadiums
Yes let’s “forget” the first season because it doesn’t suit your narrative. Ok then. Yeah, it was played in empty stadiums where 11 other PL teams finished below us

Imagine knocking the only man in the last two+ decades to bring pride and joy back to Leeds united supporters.
You need to read my post properly A14…
I didn’t say finishing 9th wasn’t a success, it was a success!
Finishing 9th aint a success when Sheff Utd did the same as did Brentford this season. Villa and Brighton qualified for Europe, that IS success.
Turning around the rudderless Super tanker that at times was akin to the Exxon Valdez and at others the Jolly Roger due to some Pirate owners and a complete overhaul of a toxic culture to something dignified is a massive achievement in my book.
