So squad all away on their hols and we cannot sign anyone new until a week on Thursday, I am perfectly happy with no decisions being made in haste.

Yep, understand the point but equally, we don’t want to appoint a manager with little time to plan for the transfer window, which may even result in them (new manager) acting in haste, scared of losing out to rivals? Anyway, we’ve also got the small matter of the ownership situation to resolve too. Oh to be a Leeds fan.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So, Radz sacks TC on 6th Feb 2018 and appoints the Heck a week after the transfer window closed, sacks Bielsa on the 28th feb 2022 and appoints Marsch a few weeks after the transfer window closed and sacks Jesse on 6th Feb 2023 and appoints Gracia shortly thereafter a week or so after the transfer window closes. Good god man, planning for transfer windows, not sure you've been paying attention.

Elsbels … why do you insist on confrontation?

… actually, I may have mis-read your humour … apologies if so👍

Biggest problem is ownership!..

A new manager, who brings him in?..

If AR brings him in the 49er's might not like him, and if they take over he could be out the door within weeks/days off them taking over!..

If AR brings him in than I think AR'll be staying!..

If the 49ers had signed Marcelo off 3 weeks ago squad would have been virtually sorted and we would be rocking

Scott Parker odds slashed from 20/1 to 5/1. 3rd favourite behind Corberan and Gerrard.

I used to work in the Midlands, a good friend of mine is a West Brom fan. The rumours down there are that we are paying the £2 million "get out" clause.

I think even Scott Parker would give us the middle finger😇

He got Fulham and Bournemouth straight back up. He'll do for me. Can't be any worse than the last 2.

No confrontation intended but it's interesting don't you think how Radz plays games, how often managers are appointed at times when they cannot do anything to improve the team.
Don't think he will be keen to invest in the squad and therefore I don't see any urgency to accelerate the appointment of a new coach.

Actually think Heck is a decent coach, certainly better than most we have had at the club in recent times.

What about Rafa?

Just out of interest, when Allerdyce and Keane left the club, what happened to the other coaches, Robinson, Abad, etc.

Gerrard is not good enough as a coach yet. Don't let him near us.

Ok got it👍. Thanks for additional comment. Just to confirm one thing - I definitely do think Radz plays games (i.e. being malicious) as well as displaying breathtaking incompetence when it comes to running LUFC.

Ok here’s a question I think we all know the answer to, but I’ll ask it anyway: who is our worst ever manager-
