Couldn’t they also send their carp players to those clubs for ridiculous transfer fees aswell?

Can't see anything coming of this. City Football Group already own a shedload of clubs around the world, and other PL and even Championship clubs also hold shares in overseas clubs, so why should Newcastle be denied minority shares in football interests on other continents?
