Crawley is genuinely very good....on flat pitches.

If only he could do the same when the ball moves.

Indeed - this will secure his place for the whole series - but let's see how the rest of the batting order gets on first. Could still easily be Crawley out for 50 while Pope, Root and Brook all get tons. Or it could be the other way round.

He's an absolutely glorious player, just prone to lapses in concentration as soon as he gets going. Seems to relax into the flow a bit TOO much.

Green is going to stop the Root dabs down to 3rd in that gully region the massive fack. Hasn't bowled yet though which is interesting.
