Hopefully we can pile on some runs around Root anchoring.
Root still looking unusually scratchy but I suppose he's been mainly up against Hazelwood who's been comfortably the most difficult Aussie bowler to get away
Not sure this has been Cummins' best morning either as skipper or bowler, but still - 2 wickets on a very batting-friendly morning isn't a terrible result for them
This looks like a draw all over it in my humble opinion. Really shiiit pitch
Love a Zak Crawley redemption arc.
Hmmmm that looked liked an edge.

Yep out no century for Crawley then. Bad timing to lose that wicket just before lunch.
There was a noise. It was the glove. Crawley is gone.
Damnit. That's unlucky for Crawley tbf - what was that, a flick of the glove strap?
Typical facking England, you can absolute guarantee we will lose a wicket in the last over of a session, every time.

And often another one right at the start of the next one. Typical England.
Reckon that makes it Australia's morning after all
Australia would be 70 without loss if they'd batted first.
Erasmus so biased against aussies in ashes.
That just edges it to Aussies session which is a tad disappointing after winning the toss
Looking good for my prediction of England 200-250. May even be a bit optimistic.

Yes a game changer
Well that is a weird one.
On the one hand,I think that is the meekness, pathetic captaincy approach iha ever seen from an Australian captain but they have 3 wickets in the first session of an Ashes series.
I am conflicted

Sorry guys. My fault.
Just hope Stokes doesn't carry on batting like a and Bairstow isn't rusty, or else we could end up relying on Root and Brook to get us a score here
Sake....how quickly the game can change.
