It is but when you think about it, it makes sense. With the new ball due the Aussie quicks would have probably gone through the tail. So why not have a go themselves for the last half an hour.

I still think the Aussies will get a first innings lead quite easily, mind as I don’t think our main duo are going to bother them that much on this pitch.
