BBC Scotland have released a statement about being denied access to the media conference.

It reads: "We’re sorry that Celtic did not allow us to cover today’s media event. We are in discussions with the club in an effort to resolve the situation."

To be fair, I don’t think Celtic mentioned any candidates.
He might have been the only choice. I’m inclined to think so.

Emotion aside, it might be quite a high-profile appointment but it also seems like a bit of a lazy one.
