Doubt he's ever had any money to spend?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Brentford, Fulham, Brighton, Sheff Utd, Bournemouth didn't throw large amounts of cash to stay up. All of them built teams that we're not only good enough to get promoted, but good enough to step up to the big league and be competent in there. Look at us under Bielsa.
My worry with Farke is, he'll get the biggest club in this league out of it, but not necessarily build one good enough to hit the Premier league with momentum.
It just feels right with Farke whereas Vieira just makes you have doubts and his body language for me almost feels like he'd be doing us a favour and possibly using us as a stepping stone to get the Arsenal job maybe.
I think Farke will love it at Leeds... lock up your wives and girlfriends if rumours of him being a ladies man are true... but I can imagine it won't take long for the Elland Road crowd to sing his name.
Dont get the admiration for Forest. They stayed up yes but only because the three that went down were awful. Horrible team and manager. When they have done three seasons in the PL then we can talk about admiration.
Anyway cant say i am that Impressed that Roca and Llorente seem to be leaving on loan. Would have been nice to have got some cash for them to use on signings.
More i read the more it looks like Farke. Seem to be waiting on EFL approval which apparently is imminent
In regards to Viera, I think there is a good manger in there.
But I think a question that they asked on square ball with Phil Hay when they asked a simple question.
If he didn't have 300 premiership games and just had his record as manager to trade on would you be happy for him to be linked.
And the simple answer is no isint it, if you look at their records as managers it shouldn't even be close
I thought that Square Ball episode was one of the best
in recent times. Pretty informative. And I agreed at the time of listening that Vieira's shine is more about him
as a player rather than manager.
Bring on Farke.

Looks like Farke is definitely the better choice for where we are. And if he gets us up, lets see what he can do with a little cash.
Just read Rasmus is off to Roma! I hope its not another loan.
Does that mean Drameh is staying?

I would keep rasmus.
Reports saying Sheff United want 10 mill for Sander Berge. I'd bite their bloody hands off if true. Love him.
I don't think hed be a big loss. Just surprising really as i thought hed be one of those who stuck around. Championship probably his level
Just hope we get actual cash for him and its not a loan. By all accounts Roca and Llorente leaving on loan
Not fussed at all if Rasmus leaves. Like him. But,
would much rather see Drameh stay. Ailing can be
the back up for one more season then move on.
Thats surprised me Batty. Thought he was one of their best players?
He was Outwood. A few of my relatives are Sheff U
fans and they're scratching their heads a bit on this.
Snap him up I say.

I read Liverpool, Chelsea and Newcastle were after him in January. Would find it strange if he would go down a league to join us.
Just read he has one year left on his contract and is wanted by a few teams in Europe and the Prem
ie we have norfolk enchance
In other news:
Russia's pre-season is going worse than ours.
Yeah, their front man is scoring a few own-goals
I’m hearing that most players have got release clauses, but only for loan deals. That is, we don’t have to sell them, but we can’t stop them going out on loan. That’s why so many loans, with more to come. Well done Orta
Orta really is a scheming piece of sh _ T.

Agree. But don’t hold me to it, just something I saw a few times, but with no confirmation. Could be internetty rubbish.
Let’s see, eh ?
Could see us doing a 'Norwich' out the gate. Get thrashed 6-0, fans go nuts. Handing back their season tickets in disgust. Then we gather ourselves
and start to take over the division and go back up.
Or is that LIW's prediction?

An update of sorts from Sky Sports
“Leeds conducted face-to-face interviews this week from the final shortlist, which includes Patrick Vieira and Daniel Farke.
“Vice chairman Paraag Marathe and CEO Angus Kinnear have been key figures in the process, which has been described as positive and is now close to completion.”
Morning allπ.
What a beautiful day for just being alive (and forgetting about Leeds United).
Hope you enjoy whatever you’ve got planned.
