West Ham have rejected Manchester City’s £90m offer for Declan Rice
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That no surprise. They are rubbing their hands in glee at the bidding war scenario they have engendered.
Really hope we know when to walk away.

100M for work rate
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Rice is has a lot more his game than work rate; but still overpriced.
Even our owners aren't stupid enough to get into a bidding war with Man City surely?

Until City have been able to the address the charges hanging over the club I don’t see why they should be able to spend another 100 million on one player🤷🏼♂️ The financial doping goes on it seems.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Guilty until proven innocent i see. Interesting concept
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Get real The whole world knew what you lot were doing way before any charges were brought.
Arsenal will probably end up going for Fofana from Monaco.
Or someone has linked himself to Arsenal based on Wenger's buying habits. We tried it with Sambi. Don't think Arteta will repeat that mistake.
If Rice falls thru, we should hijack Caicedo for sure ! £82m should be enough to lure him along with CL footy, bonuses etc. Fofana too if both Xhaka and Partey departs...Fofana shouldn't cost more than £30-35m tbh.
Chelsea have hijacked our deals time and again in the past ! we can do one on this occasion
Caicedo and then Zubimendi is much more likely imo.

Yeah, that works too tbh...
Did any one listen to Peirce Morgan on Talksports? I think he made a valid point, we still need quality 25+ goals per season striker. Jesus is not out n out striker tbh and I agree to him. Of course we are not going to get striker this season at least this window.
I hope we get to try Balogun in PL...He deserves a chance after amazing season in France.
Havertz is the only attacking option we will sign this summer unfortunately
Getting bored of this now, tbh. Probably because I don't think he's a 100mil MF. But, it ain't my money so we should just stop messing about and put the bid in. If it's rejected then so be it - move on and hijack the Caicedo transfer.
Maybe they could change transfers altogether so that they have to pay whatever the fee is but also have to feed a poor public sector worker for a year as well. So you get Declan Rice for £90 million but you also have to pay for all of Barry the Binman’s burgers or whatever for the next year. You want another player? Fine, pay for Chantelle the tattoo covered teaching assistant’s rent for 3 months.
That kind of thing.
100 m is too much for a player who will be Rodris back up

No too much as such for club like City...they are well capable of buying him just so that we don't get him.

I happen to think he isn't worth 100m to anyone but each to their own and say what you like about Citys spending I do not think they would ever spend 100m just to stop another club getting a player?
Think he will end up, eventually at Arsenal anyway

City do have a major gripe with Arsenal though I doubt they’d spunk £100m just to spite them
We should be signing both Rice and Caicedo
The fact we want to sign Rice and not Caicedo highlights the discrimination that our club has towards suddenly players
