They'll probably declare with a lead of 400+. Surely England will then have to cut out the improvised shots?
FFS. England get lucky with the bowling conditions yet again.
Ridiculous batting, just leave the short bslls alone. Bire the pants off the crowd. Who cares.
England won't get more than a couple of hundred, so already enough for a comfortable win. But just keep batting.
Modern players just getting sucked into playing short balls.

T20 era it is!
Games going nowhere with this short ball stuff. Australia will now just dig in. No need to push the game forward.
Game on said Nasser Hussain. Is he watching the same game as the rest of us? Australia are already out of sight.
Just bat out the day, and if necessary until lunch tomorrow. England have to win, pressures on them.
The Aussie's will definitely want to get a few overs in today. They may well have enough runs already, but they'll want at least 350.
Australia's morning again. In an exceptionally strong position.

I think they have more than enough. But I think they will completely take an England win out if the equation.
The batting conditions aren't conducive for attacking batting. You never know with Stokes, though. The best England can hope for is a draw.
Boring tactics from England.
Australia playing good battle hardened Test cricket. Nice to see not every ball has to be hit for a four or a six.
How many times have England actually chased down 350 plus in their history? Far to much made that England can chase down any score. That's a nonsense.
Absolutely insipid from England.
This is how I like watching Test cricket. I could watch this all day long. Proper battle.
Modern players just do not have the patience to play the long game. They just cannot resist trying to hit the ball out of the ground.
Nearly all Australian wickets have been the same way.
Just need to bat the day out now.
Shocking stuff from the Aussies. But I doubt England will make 150 if Aussies use the short ball tactics from the off.
England probably be four or five down by stumps tonight. Game over before lunch tomorrow.
Nathan Lyon
I remember Colin Cowdrey.
Starc to hit half a dozen sixes now.
This is like a scene out of Blackadder now.
