If nothing else he'll offer much more legs in midfield than Eriksen which, in a funny way, may see us see the best of the Dane in more of a squad role which I'm sure is what ETH intended him to have when he was bought.

Agreed. Eriksen can still be a very useful player for us especially in home games against teams who sit in deep.

Mount is very very similar to McTominay (main reason I didn’t really get the signing especially for the price). Potential I guess
But essentially Mount has his good games, has his bad games, does a job and will chip in now and then with goals and assists
Not a world beater and probably never will be but the sort of player you need in some games and in the squad.
Think it’s a good deal for both parties, ala what’ve Reid with Havertz/Arsenal
