Sorry Union Berlin but neither team will know the difference.
I'm of exactly the same opinion that he was just a total waste of club funds, completely unsuitable for the physicality of the Premier league and he makes Daniel James look credible and I hope DJ gets to contribute majorly under Farke this season and Leeds fans get to see why Bielsa rated him so highly.
FFS another piece of shocking business in buying him and then not even getting money for him but a loan.
Which Leeds fan would want him back in a year?
So that's 2 players now one would have reasonably expecting to receive some some of transfer fee gone for a year for peanuts if not nothing.

Just be glad he has gone Jonty.
So much optimism when he signed, but if anybody sums up the I cannot be bothered attitude at the club that I wrote about last week it is this guy.
Not sure what Berlin are seeing in him and what he will give to them in their European Cup campaign.
Great news. Things are coming together.
Never thought we'd get anywhere near what we wasted on him but good he's off the books.
I try to support all the lads but I had bad feelings on this one from the get go.

Must of watched a different player too me.
Tried every game, attitude came across well.
Just didnt play well for us.
Nothing more, nothing less.
Didnt work out, for a host of reasons, but not that he couldnt be bothered.
Thing is, we should have been getting rid, llorente, koch and Him, for money.
Yes would have been taking losses, but were going to end up recouping hardly anything for them.
What an utter disgrace of a transfer policy, we have had past 3 seasons

Exactly, these loans are a disgrace.
Seems the club have come to grips with the fact that
Radz & Orta squandered millions on reclamation projects
and exotic punts (read: players not equipped for the Prem).
They also seem to have also realized they're not going
to recoup anywhere near as much as they should in
transfer fees. Looks like Hammond is dealing with this
reality best he can.
He is clearing salary off the books though:
McKennie 75 k per week
Koch 40 k per week
Aaronson 45 k per week
Llorente 45 k per week
Robles 20 k per week
Forshaw 20 k per week
TOTAL 245 k per week GONE
Next group almost certain to be out:
Rodrigo 100 k per week
Roca 50 k per week
Rasmus 40 k per week
TOTAL 190 k per week
More than likely to exit after that:
Firpo 60 k per week
Meslier 30 k per week
Summerville 15 k per week
TOTAL 105 k per week
---------------------------------------------
GRAND TOTAL OFF BOOKS:
540 k per week
These players might also be sold before window closes
(but club are trying to retain):
Jack 90 k per week
Sin 65 k per week
Adams 55 k per week
That doesn't take into account our new reality of
Championship income levels. But, it does free up
a considerable amount that can now be used to
sign proven, top level Championship talent.
And it seems that's who Hammond is lining up.

I really thought we'd stay up. And I also thought the squad was good enough. I thought Wober was a good
add. But the manager(s) and squad got found out so quickly after the window closed. Nose dive.
Inbalanced batty, that and bad managers killed us.
So he is contracted until 2027, surely we are just deferring any transfer fee and as he will be at a Champions League club, if he does OK, much better shop window than the Championship.

So Union Berlin will be paying us a fee for a player who probably wouldn't have cut it in the Championship, he will be off our payroll and on theirs as there is nearly four years left on his contract, unless things go badly wrong, will command a transfer fee this time next year.
Surely this is a good for all parties.
An example of a player that has one shortcoming that just undoes all the positive attributes elsewhere. If he wasn't as lightweight as he was then there'd be a player there. Shame.
Inbalanced batty, that and bad managers killed us.

Evidence backs you up.
Hindsight, but, the sacking of Bielsa was much more
than a sacking of a great manager. It was Orta getting
full control of everything. While Radz sat back and let him. Because both of them thought Orta was way
better than he actually was and is. Effed up situation.

Make them stronger. There's a few examples of

Part of me wonders if Berlin is very deliberate choice

Personally don't think it is. But, it might be worth
