Probably not. Are anyone of us fussed by that?
Doubt it. Llorente, Rasmus, Firpo, you name it,
they can all move on and I doubt any fan will bat
an eye over their departures.
One of the least likable set of players I can remember.
We’ll be stuck with Badform and Firpo, both on big wages, very unlikely any club will take them…I’d sit them on the bench all season.

Seems the club have come to grips with the fact that
Radz & Orta squandered millions on reclamation projects
and exotic punts (read: players not equipped for the Prem).
They also seem to have also realized they're not going
to recoup anywhere near as much as they should in
transfer fees. Looks like Hammond is dealing with this
reality best he can.
He is clearing salary off the books though:
McKennie 75 k per week
Koch 40 k per week
Aaronson 45 k per week
Llorente 45 k per week
Robles 20 k per week
Forshaw 20 k per week
TOTAL 245 k per week GONE
Next group almost certain to be out:
Rodrigo 100 k per week
Roca 50 k per week
Rasmus 40 k per week
TOTAL 190 k per week
More than likely to exit after that:
Firpo 60 k per week
Meslier 30 k per week
Summerville 15 k per week
TOTAL 105 k per week
---------------------------------------------
GRAND TOTAL OFF BOOKS:
540 k per week
These players might also be sold before window closes
(but club are trying to retain):
Jack 90 k per week
Sin 65 k per week
Adams 55 k per week
That doesn't take into account our new reality of
Championship income levels. But, it does free up
a considerable amount that can now be used to
sign proven, top level Championship talent.
And it seems that's who Hammond is lining up.
Hope we get all those to leave except summerville. Would love if we kept summerville. Think his pace would terrify Championship teams and he is a much better player than James.

Would be happy if we kept either. Can see why we would get rid of Firpo but in a team that dominates the ball think Firpo could be good in this division. Also as long Bamford stays fit there aren't many better all round strikers than Bamford in this division.

Why/
I bad mouth Bamford more than just about anyone.
It was more lashing out at Orta being sh 1 te at his job.
If we land Piroe and then have Bamford as his back up,
that would be a pretty damn fine combo in the Champ.
It's when we rely on Bamford as our starter that we
fall flat on our face (injuries/lack of goals). Imagine though if we had him coming off the bench. That I'm
fully on board with.
I'm not sure any other club will pay Rodrigo 100k per week plus 3 or 4 million for his transfer fee so it's odds on Rodrigo stays and rips up the championship for us hopefully with 20 plus goals buy irrespective I hope we still sign this young Dutch striker from Swansea.
Rodrigo moving to Saudi, I thought?
Monday morning meeting
Part 1 - Get Gustavo Hamer
Time for lunch
I saw his message and it wound me up a bit too. 'Who'd a thought a year ago id be playing for a Champions League club next season'..
No mention of Leeds at all. At least Koch gave us a send off.
It would appear that first urgency is reducing the current wage bill.
Sky tv money paid for the transfers of these players and whilst it is sickening to lose so much money on them we have to get the finances in order. The loan clauses do give both player and Leeds a swift opportunity to sort themselves out going forwards.
Ideally we would like these players to be sold for fees now but in reality where are the teams clambering to make permanent deals?

Well that's the only way he's going to get paid what he's on at Leeds and maybe a bit extra too so I suppose you can't blame him with a young family at his age wanting to secure his future financially.
Hope we start to hear about players signing for us rather than leaving us this week.

Because I think they would prefer to take a wage than play every week…Bamford should not be our starting number 9 and Firpo will find the championship above his level.

Rodrigo on 100k per week over a couple of seasons plus 3 million in fees adds up to about about 13 million for, say, 30 Premier League goals, if he stays fit. Just about every team below the top six would take that.
As for your comment about securing the future for his family, just what exactly do you mean by 'securing the future'? Here in the real world, one year of that kind of money secures the future of most families for about 3 generations.
As for Bamford, make him train with the kids until he realises that he is not playing for us again. He has nothing to offer at this or any other level. If we put him on the pitch, it is inevitable that he will choose the worst possible moments to fu©k us up royally. Younger players need to get the message that Bamford has no part to play in the present or future of the club, and that being cr@p at a job you are being paid extremely well to do has consequences.
Bamford is already training with the kids technically

'...wanting to secure his future financially' – are you for real Macca? He's already earned at least 10 times what most of us earn in a lifetime. Then after he's retired he'll probably go on the punditry circuit, football management, after-dinner speaking. And if he's still hard up after that, he'll just have to go out and get a proper job, like the rest of us. If he's got any decency, he'll stay and help put right what he and he his hopeless teammates screwed up last season.

Yes obviously Lorra in the real world most of us inhabit it does seem ridiculous that Rodrigo would not be content with his lot at Leeds and he probably already has secured his family a very comfortable future most of us can only dream of but it's what he's being offered and if you or I were let's say in the same position but didn't have the pull of loving and supporting Leeds all your life and were offered a luxery life and permanent hot weather in Saudi for 2 or 3 years which is similar to Dubai and Abi Dhabi and even more money you are on at Leeds and your other options are to stay put at Leeds and slog it out in the Championship or take a 25% salary cut and be a bench warmer at a La liga club, I personally could see with those options why he would take the Saudi offer.
I sincerely hope he sees it like you do though Lorra and he stays with us but footballers unfortunately are mostly ruthless creatures and will use the, I have to put my family first reason and go where the most lucrative offer is on the table which seems to be for a lot of footballers the Saudi option which I think is a souless option and depressing for the game but I like Rodrigo and I suppose I was trying to be kind to him by describing the motives for his potential decision the way I did which technically is nonsense as like you point out he's already minted.... lucky begger!
I was once offered a lucrative tax free 3 year contract in Saudi - 1992. Main considerations; wife strictly forbidden from shopping, free car for duration, fully furnished villa with pool, 2 paid for holidays per year (up to £10k each) and year round sunshine. No booze - but we brewed our own anyway - and a regular threat of terrorist attacks.
To be honest it was the wife not shopping bit that nailed it ............
