Struijk - clumsy, hopeless.
2-0 was he offside? No Leeds player anywhere near him
Must not collapse now, like we did all too often last season
The first one was off, second one he was on
Crikey - and this is our first team! Things, as they say, can only get better…
Disappointing second half. Ayling surely lost his place now at RB? Drameh looked much better there
Hopefully our starting line-up for Cardiff will look very different.
Very respectable result and performance and bodes well for the season.

Is this sarcastic?
Absolute shocking performance. Not one single player made a stake for a starting place and several pushed for a taxi out of the door. I’m sorry but that’s not a friendly. It’s an opportunity to get the fans back on board by beating the enemy and we end up losing to their u23s. Club is rotten to the core right now.
In fairness, quite a high proportion of our squad was our U23s.
In truth our second half team included Bamford Ayling James Gelhardt and Struijk. That should have been a massive advantage. Bamford and Gelhardt didn’t look interested in the slightest.
Drameh, Sinisterra and Gyabi were the stand outs for me. Cooper did ok as well. Bate showed he could be a decent squad player. Gelhardt and Rutter looked ok i thought.
Ayling, Struijk and Bamford were awful. Keepers were poor too. Need a senior keeper sooner rather than later.

No it’s not!
Adam’s, Wober, Harrison, Gnonto all walk into that team when fit and if they stay.
No stand outs for me.

Will be very suprised if any apart from Wober stay. Can't see Gnonto or Jack playing in the championship. Maddison got a 40 mil move to Spurs, Jack aint far behind that level.

I only saw the first half and Man Utd had what you would consider 4 or 5 first team players against our 2 in Cooper and Sinistera and the rest on both sides were U23's and other than one good save our keeper made I though Man U for all their possession were contained quite well and yes I was annoyed by 2 or 3 Sloppy give away balls by the defence but there were definite plus moments going forward 3 or 4 times and that's why I said it was respectable... not brilliant obviously but for starters it's something to build on and hopefully Farke will have learnt something but I accept we need at least 6 or 7 new signings as that line up today would struggle to be better than the bottom 6 of the Championship.
Let's see how they look in a couple of weeks Kebab where hopefully we can both agree there's cause for optimism under Farke's management.
Been back in training a week.
I actually think it was too early for a friendly, and players having to rush back for plane. Pretty poor planning for me.
Gained absolutely nothing from that game apart from abit of fitness.
Waste of time

Bamford … didn’t look interested in the slightest.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Bamford’s face getting off the coach when arriving at the ground said it all. He clearly doesn’t want to be at Leeds. Good. I don’t want him at Leeds either.

When the squad arrived at the stadium before the game today. Most players winked and nodded at LUTVs camera welcoming the players inside the stadium … but take a look at Paddy’s face as he passes by (video on official Leeds Facebook page).
Frankly surprised by people reading into this and expecting players to be playing to a higher standard. Its the first friendly for what has been a fairly disjointed pre-season. Completely meaningless. Probably scheduled when we still thought we would be in the PL.
Maybe half of the 21 players that played will be in the first team squad for next season. Possibly not even that.

Lubo, you're right. Let's get this into perspective - once the takeover is rubber stamped, Farke will be spending on new players. If there are any left to buy...
The worrying over new signings is another thing I don't understand. They will be coming. We are signing players. Probably 5-6 first XI signings, I'd wager.
Not that concerned thus far. I'm sure stuff will be happening behind the scenes.
