Good news. Interesting to find out who else was in for him.
Assuming that he's matching or bettering your top earners, he must be on at least £350k a week?

Probably is. He got 41 g/a last season tbf. If Sancho is on 350k then he has every right to want at least the same.
That's on the club not Rashford. Silly wages in the past still causing us issues.
The club isn’t getting sold, get it in your heads.
Not bad for a few months work

If Sancho is on that he should be on 3.5m per week.
Interesting that he ‘rejected more lucrative offers from England and abroad’ according to Ornstein. Who would that be?

He did carry you a bit last season. United need him fit and on form and almost to play every game because without him, few others score goals. The additional effort of the UCL will only place a greater strain on him.
You need a proper striker...although i can see you slowly reintegrating Greenwood at the expense of integrity.

PSGs interest has been very real. His signing is a win for us.
Wasn't there talk of a 200k a week cap a while back?
Always liked Rashford but do think he flatters to deceive a bit with his strike rate. 30 gials sounds great but a good chunck of those goals are against more than questionable opposition. He certainly needs to do more in big away games.
Saying that, if Utd has a class forward next to him, he'd likely get a fair bit more doace, snd it's space which Rashford thrives on.
I don't think Utd get enough runners from midfield into the box either, which again would help him.

On that last point, the second half of last season was much better, and Mount will help further with that.

Yeah but 17 PL goals is his best ever return - If you want to talk about top quality players scoring from wide positions then the likes of Salah, Son, Sterling, Mane have delivered more .
He would benefit from having a better striker up top, a good foil and take the scoring pressure off him.
More good news for United fans. It is shaping up to be a good summer so far. Still lots of work to do; need a new striker and to shift some of the deadwood, but we do seem to be doing better than in recent years.

For sure, but on a contract like that I'd want him getting the goals in big away games and that's where Utd fell down a bit.
Also, it was more than questionable opposition, about half his goals were against league one standard sides, which is fine, as long as you're knocking them in against the big boys too. Imo anyway.

A contract like what?
A massive contract VC, one that would normally go to a world class player who doesn't go missing.
