The three youngsters have 30 senior appearances between them, don't see them playing a significant part in a title challenge.
You laugh.....he will be brought in for the cups imo, which allows the seniors to be rested..which means...players less likely to be injured!

The only positive about playing ropey is for these to get more mins
Bobby Clark will be nowhere near Prem football but Doak has very high potential and we can all see Bajcetic us a proper player. He'll get plenty of minutes.
Well I am very surprised by this, usually you are a glass half empty man where Liverpool are concerned OP
ignore the propaganda on the kids and all the talk.
what liverpool need is the 5 forwards to gel and score goals while staying fit. that is where the strength is and need to fire us on.
people need tonget off the title challenge stuff. we've no right to even think about it. the first improvement is to get to top 4
we fell short of it and looked like we gave up at the end.
that has to be the first change. we worked hard to get back up to 5th but the heart if a few were in question and some of those are not moving on
You know Summer's coming to an end when GB posts an article like this.
Tough season ahead for city...FFP hanging over them, world club games, mf players leaving.....pep struggling..
All depends on if a completely new midfield can hit the ground running.
Liverpool were supposedly looking for another midfielder and with Fabinho and Henderson going to Saudi, probably now looking at 3.
Club have to heavily back Klopp to make sure these 3 are the right level.
I think we are nearly back to square kne like last season. The midfield is light were as now we just have younger midfielders. I can't believe we getting rod of so many at same time, with hindsight we prob wish we kept milner now for that experience.
Trent said only few weeks ago how lfc have players who kmow how to win the league but we have lost all the midfielders with that experience.

I agree. Too much change all at once in 1 area of the pitch. Think it will lead to much inconsistency in the beginning. I dare say we'll figure out as the season progresses and we'll be in the mix for top 4 but cant see us close to challenging for the title.
I think we'll improve on last season, that was already evident by the final 10 games, and be right back in the fight for 2-4 but challenge for the title? Can't see it tbh.
Since the Leicester season, it's taken an average of 94 points to win the EPL (7 seasons). That level of consistency with an entirely new midfield is too much of an ask.
Comfortably top 4 and winning the EL would be a good season imo.

I'd be made up with that.
