Do I have permission to put this on the back of the DVD cover?

Looking forward to seeing it, says a lot about the world we now live that a film about a doll that wears pink is getting the same attention

I have no intention of seeing Barbie either tbh despite it featuring Margot Robbie.

Can't deny the important and significance that toy has had on the world though and for girls in particular. I see the attraction. We just aren't the target audience.

Oppenheimer on the other hand will blow your mind though.

You’d be surprised who the target audience actually is.

Tbh I'd actually rather watch Barbie.

I've never really been interested in films based on real events, except Titanic.

I'm actually fascinated about the Barbie film and it's beaten Oppenheimer easily at the box office. The marketing campaign has been insane and Robbie's going to make an Mbappe-esque fortune on the backend, since her production company made the film.

Who is it then? Surely girls given the cinema have been packed out with girls wearing all pink for days? Seen some myself Tonight as we went to see Oppenheimer.

That's like saying One Direction are better than some of the best bands in the world.

Of course it's beaten Oppenheimer. It's a film that appeals to the masses and is an easy watch. Anyone who is of below average intelligence would be totally lost watching Oppenheimer and probably bored no doubt. Young people won't go watch it either because it's a serious film.

Just got back home after watching it tonight.
As you say SE - what a powerful and utterly compelling film.
Brilliant cast and directed by the one and only Christopher Nolan.
This deserves to pick up a few Oscars

Having seen both I’d say that Barbie was a more clever movie and appealed to a greater mind. Don’t get me wrong, I loved Oppenheimer but it didn’t really have anything new to say and was a performance led movie more than anything groundbreaking like Barbie was.

I might be in the minority too here (I definitely will be) but I find Emily Blunt more attractive than Margot Robbie. She's without a doubt a better actress as well of course.

Although to be fair she's not overly attractive in this particular role but I still loved her performance. She's brilliant as are all the cast.

Out of all the performances I thought she was most Oscar worthy. That and Alden’s though I don’t think he’ll be nominated.

Can't decide if he's being serious or not.

With Robb you can never be sure. 😂

Barbie may well win the battle of the viewing figures. Let's see who wins the war of the award shows in the winter.

Cillian Murphy delivered the best acting performance I have seen for at least 20 years in this film for me. Absolutely incredible.

Emily Blunt was incredible too though.

Disgusting how talented the people involved in this film are.

Nolan is a genius too.
