Got caught in no mans land for the opener, but was some finish and defence/midfield got absolutely cut through so its more on them for me.
Some great confident passing very refreshing to see and great save from Vinny.

As a keeper the main thing should be keeping ball out of the net. Feet are a bonus. He is an average shot stopper.

I bring him into it because I think you should judge the new keeper by the incredibly lenient stanards by which you judged the previous incumbent. Seems only fair.
He should have done better on the first goal, don't think he can be blamed on the second goal tbh. I'm sure he'll be at fault for goals on occasion this season. However, him allowing us to play further up the pitch should help lead to us being more dominant in games which should lead to scoring more and conceding less opportunities and goals. In theory
All the Onana experts coming out of the woodwork, he had better save % and save vs xg than Ddg last season which is Ddgs only strength lol.

I'm not having it both ways. I said he should have done better on the first goal. The second one, he didn't move because he had no chance of reaching it.
I remember a certain keeper in a certain cup final stepping away from the ball, then dropping to one knee for a savable volley not so long ago, for example. That was the difference, that shot was saveable with competent goalkeeping, not like today's
